Tommy Bahama Beach Umbrella 2020 Blue

Great product! Mine finally died yesterday after 5 years of service. The hinge where you can tilt the umbrella broke on it's own (I was sleeping at the beach and when I woke up the umbrella was on the sand).

I loved this umbrella. It withstood some wind, allthough it is not so sturdy as the heavy wooden ones (which is a GREAT compromise since it is so lightwight to carry), the hight lock works great, it carry bag is great to unpack and pack again. I love the anchor, no need to carry another accessorie (allthough I did in case this did not work, but I did not have the need to use it!). It also has the opening on the top to allow heat and wind to escape. It is really great. I saw several on the beach, I guess we all bought it due to the great price point it had.

Well built, I’ve taken this thing to the beach for several years and it’s held up great.

Tommy Bahama Beach Umbrella 2020 Blue The umbrella is great. It does a good job with blocking the sun and is tilt-able. I haven't had any problems with its sturdiness for 2 months now. It has outlets in the top to relieve air pressure and prevent the umbrella from going inside out. There is a large screw in the bottom of the pol to help dig into the sand. However, to get a real sturdy placement, you need to go real deep into the sand; which in turn shortens the pole length of the umbrella. It is lightweight for a large male. There would be only 2 things I would change about this umbrella. The pole should be longer and the canopy could also be longer. As you drill the pole into the sand deeper, the pole becomes shorter in turn. So standing under the umbrella is more difficult if you want a strong foothold. While the shade from the canopy is adequate, I would've liked one much larger.

For years we always used cheap umbrellas because we never saw the sense in buying a “name brand” beach umbrella since we only go to the shore about 3-4 times each summer. Although I looked up Tommy Bahama umbrellas on Amazon and this was about 30 dollars cheaper than on the actual website so I said why not and give it a shot and I was actually very satisfied with this product. It truly does block out the sun and uv rays because my old umbrella showed faint patches of light but not this one. Also I love the Anchor screw at the bottom and the tilt feature. Side note, I was also impressed by how light weight the umbrella was since I heard Tommy bahama products can be more on the heavier side.

My family often goes to the beach as we live close and have young children who enjoy the beach as much as we do. This umbrella is awesome especially for the price! It has a built in sand anchor that worked like a charm, nice sun coverage and it was very sturdy the whole time. I love that the umbrella can bend in any position to adjust to the suns placement throughout the day. It comes in a carrying bag and THAT is a major plus +++ Nice, durable umbrella that looks nice as well.

Purchased umbrella in May and used it for the FIRST time yesterday. Due to COVID, the beaches in my area were closed but have reopened with very strict capacity restrictions so my first trip was to the beach yesterday. The umbrella was easy to set up and looked great as you can see in the one photo. The umbrella unfortunately didn’t last long. I decided to close it as I wanted to walk to the water. Well—- the umbrella wouldn’t close. Apparently something metal was sticking out of the umbrella that was sharp and ultimately cut my finger. The umbrella would NOT close at all. I gave up after close to an hour and with the assistance of about 3 people. Later, I had to leave the umbrella at the beach as it would not close. There was no way this large umbrella would fit into my car. I contacted the seller who told me the purchase was made too long ago and to reach out to Amazon for their “A to Z” guaranteed. Unbelievable!! Very disappointed. Buyer beware.

So easy to use and it’s huge!! We love that you can tilt the umbrella on the pole to block the sun, this way you don’t have to move your chairs to follow the shade. It’s a little heavy but not horrible. It looks sleek and beachy.

This umbrella is amazing. You can buy it cheaper at Costco now, but it's a great umbrella. Large coverage, highly adjustable and solid in the wind. I even set it up in shallow water and it stayed up in the wet sand.

I love it as it is easy to put up and take down, fits in a carry bag and very light , good sturdy umbrella for the sand

The product arrived missing the part that should go into the sand, and it definitely wasn’t a Tommy Bahama umbrella since it had no logo anywhere, and colour wasn’t matching with the one on pictures. Just a headsup.

La construccion de la sombrilla es muy buena, se nota que los materiales son de calidad. El tamaño es bastante grande y 2 personas entran muy comodas. Pude hacer uso de la ventilacion supior en un dia de viento y efectivamente evita el embolsado. Muy buen precio y calidad, te va a durar muchos veranos.
