Ultimate Drill Bit Set - 246 PCS Comprehensive Premium Quality Drill Bits Kit...

I bought this drill bit set to replace a set I’ve had for years from one of the big box stores. At half the price, it comes with twice as many pieces and has everything I would ever personally need. Upon first inspection, I was pleasantly surprised the sturdiness of the case. The case and latches are hard plastic. It opens smoothly and closes tightly. The bits fit snugly in their respective spots and are clearly labeled allowing everything to remain well organized. There is also a foam insert to help keep everything in place. Time will tell how well the bits hold up, but they seem to be made of a strong metal that should suffice for everyday home projects. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I’m hopeful that these bits last for a long time.

Love it. Everything in one place

I bought this, like many others, because I need/use all the various bits and items often enough and I wanted to have them all in a convenient case, easy to find. The variety is great, with many of the drill bits you use replicated 2 and 3 times, knowing you will wear those out quicker. Great thinking. The variety, especially including the hole saw bits is really good. However, as I started I wanted everything in one place...this was a main point of the purchase as you can get similar items separately, easy enough and for relatively low cost. The CASE leaves a lot to be desired. Mine arrived broken (one of the two holding the case together). Some of the bits were scattered in the Amazon box. I put it together again, all were there, however the case and remaining clasp are cheap, thin, and destined to fail again. Internally the clasps holding each bit are thin and weak. Add to that the paper label on the outside not only rolled off due to humidity, it revealed MANY holes in the lid beneath it, clearly to save on plastic in the making, but allowing free floating bits inside to fall out. The individual clasps holding the bits are not going to last, so the holes in the case will be a nightmare. I fixed it by duct taping the paper label back on temporarily. Later I will epoxy a piece of thin plywood to make the case more rigid, and attach a bungee around it. But the bits and the selection are great!

This drill set has just about everything that you would need to work on projects that require U.S. Customary drill bits, sockets and screwdriver bits. The case is organized and well built. It holds everything firmly in place. Some of the smaller screwdriver bits around the edge of the case were a little difficult to remove at first, but eased with use. I like the fact that there are multiple driver and drill bits of the same size just in you wear one out or break one. (I have used some very expensive 1/8" drill bits and they still break, so these backup bits are a definitely handy!) The punch and the countersink tool are really a plus for this set! Like the magnetic chuck for the screwdriver bits; makes changing bits very easy without having to mess with the drill chuck. Haven't been able to use all of this set yet, but what I have used (some standard black and titanium drill bits and some of the screwdriver bits) have demonstrated excellent quality. FYI - The two 3/32" 'nut drivers' that one of the product's picture show (number 10) are 3/32" allen wrenches. I would definitely buy this set again and recommend it to others. Bought this for SIL as he has very few tool. I have one somewhat similar and have used it for 20 years. Comes in handy with all the different bits. Excellent value.

Lots of drill bits but the case itself seems cheap, some of the bits just kinda fall out and even when i first opened it a few were already falling out.

this box of tips are perfect to have when you have a power drill . well made , more then you will ever need to use .

Great kit... I just wished it was in metric not imperial... I knew from the images that it was in imperial, I just took a risk and hoped it was going to be in metric since I'm in SA, but it was not. Oh well, I just have to make it work... Great kit nonetheless.
