Clear Duck Versus Clear Gorilla
The bottom line is: Both tapes are useful. Clear Gorilla tape works better, and costs more. These clear repair tapes are like mylar packing tape, only stretchy.I used clear Duck tape and clear Gorilla tape to attach light strips to my car. Both adhered well to glass and paint. On vinyl, the Gorilla tape gave about twice the peel strength. On the most challenging surface, low-energy plastic (I think polyethylene, but could be polypropylene) only the Gorilla tape would stick.I drove them through a major rainstorm, followed by four days in the rain, with occasional periods of hot Texas sun. Then I drove home, several hours at freeway speed. Both the Clear Duck and the clear Gorilla tape survived. They were beginning to peel, but did not start flapping in 70 mph wind. Both left a residue that took some work to clean off.Summary: Clear Duck tape is good for easy surfaces, like metal. For hard-to-stick surfaces, like low-energy plastics, pay the extra for clear Gorilla tape, and don't expect it to stick forever.

Good tape and works well
It's thick and works very well. Only if it costs less, it would be nice.

Works perfectly for my purpose
Using this to seal the edge of marine vinyl sheets on wooden panels. It looks like packing tape but it's stickier and more flexible. Clearly creates a good waterproof edge that will keep the water from seeping under the vinyl window edges. Seems very solid, no worries. If it falls apart I'll change this, but it seems great going on.

terrible tape
This tape is terrible. It does not stick or stay stuck. Everything I used it on fell apart. The area was hot, so maybe that had something to do with it not sticking, but it was worthless. It does not work as tape is supposed to work, buy something else that will work and save yourself the headache. I would give 0 start if they would let me.

Works OK
I remodeled the garage and used this product along with insulation on the garage door.It stuck moderately well to exposed surfaces, but mosly fails on sticking to the insulation board. Primer doesn't adhere well to this material and neither does paint and the product let loose in places. All in all, I rated it at abut 4 stars for performance. It adhered only well enough when spanning between neighboring pieces to get that rating. I'm sure I'll have to reapply in a year in some locals.

Poor quality change
Quality has changed. Used to love this tape for various uses around the house. Now it barely sticks to anything. Would not recommend
