Tangled Up

Great album!

I am an older gal, but love this young music. There are only two songs on here that I don't really care for. Maybe they will grow on me but they are track 5 and 7. The song "Shake it" has me wanting to get up and dance. Physically can't yet but I am really grooving the funkadelic sounds and visuals I get listening to this song. I hope he puts out a video having left wingers shaking it on the left and right wingers shaking it on the right with a tongue and cheek humor with all the politics on the news. I swear this song should be the next "Happy". I can't wait to see the video's on Youtube! There are several songs that are ballads which are very nice. (I left the CD in my vehicle other wise I could name them.) Very sweet and country sounds. The mixing of the Motown Funk with Country music is such genius! it works folks! "Tangled Up and "Crash and Burn" are awesome, IMHO. You want to pat your feet and sing along. I would love to see Thomas Rhett in concert someday. Hope he is just as good as he is on this CD.

Love, Love, Love this CD. I initially bought it because of the song T-Shirt (and I had already bought Die A Happy Man on iTunes so that was on heavy rotation already). And I'm happy to note that I like a ton more songs on the CD. South Side is an upbeat dancing kind of song along with Anthem and Tangled and Vacation (which I think is now being played on Country Radio). I especially love Single Girl because I'm always single and it kind of gives hope that there are men out there worthy of me who want to be with me. Other songs I love are Like It's The Last Time, The Day You Stop Lookin' Back, Playing With Fire (LOVE!!!), and Learned It From The Radio. Oh who am I kidding, I pretty much like every song on this CD and that is hard to do! Just so much variety. You will love it, I promise.

I am not a fan of country music, but I heard one song, and I am now hooked to Thomas Rhett's music! I cannot recommend this album enough!

Tangled up- Thomas Rhett So I am a guy and I absolutely love this dudes music!! My fiancée purchased this album and I started to listen to it and it was great music!! It’s really cool how his whole album is good. All the songs are really catchy and have smooth beats and tunes! I will agree with a lot that this is no longer country. This is a hybrid between country and pop but who cares?!!? Call it country rock or rap good music is good music. It’s all about how it makes you feel and how you can relate to what you’re listening to! I would really enjoy seeing this guy live in concert!!!

Has some great stuff on it. I kinda particularly got this version of the album since it has the Danielle Bradbery version of "Playing With Fire," which I've honestly felt slaps more than the Jordin Sparks version. Granted, some of the songs are basically 2 of the same one on the same disc, but I'm not one who really minds that.

Another Country Pop album from Thomas Rhett, who really just seems to mix all genre's and influences into his music, he doesn't really care where it comes from, if he likes it, he sings it and that's that. Alot less country even that his 1st release which had the merest nod towards it. But his albums are good, even though the 1st one sounds better on shuffle than the original running order, the second one is also very good. Definitely not traditional country, but good music just the same.

One of the songs (Die a Happy Man) was song of the week on Radio 2 and bought it initially because of that. Love the whole album, very catchy! Has been my favourite album this year. If you are a fan of country pop and artists like Keith Urban you will not be disappointed.
