Nice brushless for Tamiya (but not only) models
Nice, well built sensored brushless motor. Sensor wire is not included, however. Comes with short 12 AWG leads soldered to the end of the can. That makes it fit nicely into my XV-01 TC Pro, unlike many other brushless motors that have the soldering tabs on the side. The connectors are the standard Tamiya motor ones, so it is plug-n-play for Tamiya ESCs. I connected it to a Trackstar ESC using standard 4mm bullet connectors (the female ones fit the Tamiya male ones just fine). Motor has adjustable timing, mine came set between the first and second markers (see pictures, ticks are not labeled), analyzer says that that is 21 degrees timing. With that stock setting, motor has a kV of ~3700 rpm/V on a fully charged 2S LiPo pack, pulling just under 3 A, so there is room to increase timing and kV if that is needed. In summary very nice well built motor with ample of power for a 1/10 scale touring car.

This is it
There are no slow cars with this motor. Installed it on my Avante MK II, which is one of the slowest Tamiya around, and the cha ge is impressive. With a 28th gear the car went from low 20 mph to a 33 moh. Enough said.

Great for Tamiya
I love these motors. The connections rotate so it is easy to find the perfect fit and still show the label. I have them in an Astute, Egress, M-08, TT-02 and many other cars.

Great for 4WD
Great motor easy to install and has enough power to make a Cat XLS take off like a rocket. very well built

Great motor...
Powerful and smooth. About the equivalent of a 19turn brushed motor. Don't hesitate if you want to stay with Tamiya but go brushless. Only issue is it is expensive.

ESCはブラシレス対応の物を購入必須です。 ESCをブラシレスモードにセッティングればOKです。 ニッケル水素でも走りますが、スーパーストックRSモーターとそれ程変わりはないですかね。 ブラシレス10.5Tなので、ブラシモーターより加速が軽い感じがします。 リポにすると差が出るかも知れません。
