Durable wheels, Perfect size, keeps cold and easy to clean
A Must-Have for Any Outdoor Adventure! I purchased the Coleman Xtreme 5 Cooler for my catering business, and it has exceeded all my expectations! Here’s a detailed breakdown of my experience: Design and Build Quality The cooler boasts a robust and sturdy construction. The handles are strong and ergonomic, making it easy to carry, even when fully loaded. The lid is well-insulated and seals tightly, which is essential for maintaining the internal temperature. Capacity With a 50-quart capacity, it was more than enough to store food for various catering gigs. We purchased multiple coolers because it makes it easy to separate out all our dishes for preparation Performance The performance of this cooler is truly impressive. Coleman claims it can keep ice for up to five days, and it lived up to this promise. Even after several days in 90°F weather, our ice remained mostly intact, and all the contents stayed cold. This reliability is a game-changer when we are not sure what conditions we will be working in Additional Features EZ-Clean Lid: The smooth surface makes it easy to wipe clean after use. Cup Holders: The lid has built-in cup holders, which we did not use - but I am sure are very handy for picnics. Seat Lid: The lid is strong enough to double as a seat, which was quite useful when taking a quick break on the job Portability Despite its large size, the cooler is relatively easy to transport. The two-way handles are very convenient, and the wheels (which we think are essential) make it even easier to move, especially on rough terrain. Value for Money Given its performance and capacity, the Coleman Xtreme 5 Cooler is incredibly good value for money. It outperforms many more expensive coolers on the market. Conclusion I highly recommend the Coleman Xtreme 5 Cooler for anyone in need of a reliable and durable cooler for work or outdoor adventures. It keeps items cold for an extended period, has a large capacity, and is built to last. Whether you’re a chef, camping, tailgating, or just having a family picnic, this cooler is up to the task!

Affordable cooler
This cooler is handy for outdoor bbq's, entertaining and also for emergencies. I have had times with a week of no electricity, though that is rare and you can put a block of ice in here and keep food for up to five days. This 50 gallon size will hold seventy cans, so big enough for a picnic assuming 2-3 drinks a person you could have enough for 20-30 people. It will hold 2 liter soda bottles upright. I also travel and one of my trips is often where the food is not to my liking (big group meeting.) I keep fruit and cheese and other foods cool if there is no fridge offered in the hotel room. While some of the premier brands go for hundreds, this is very affordable and does about the same. The instructions even say you can sit on the lid but it does crush under (springs back) so I'd say you can let children sit on it but a big adult should not. The top has four drink holders so with two folding camp chairs you get a sort of occasional table. The handle pulls up and you can wheel it from the car to wherever you need to be. Ice in block will keep your food cooler, and that takes some doing to find these days. You can also use frozen icepacks and cube ice. Items like milk need to be at the bottom. I also find it helps to put foods in plastic bags to keep them from getting wet or from leaking out. It's a bit small for a big family camping trip; you might need a bigger one or two of them if you have a lot of people along.

Great cooler
Kept food cold for 5 days with 3 bags of ice. One bag to cool it first. Large bag to pack food and water. One small bag on 4th day just to keep everything very cold. Size is good. I used long skinny containers for food. Was able to put a lot of drink in to get and keep cold.

Doesn't Hold Up
Ok for a cooler. Held a lot of beverages. Kept everything cold. A bag of ice didn't melt completely overnight. The handle after about 5 uses became loose. Lasted almost 2 years (used about a dozen times). The wheels feel off and completely from the plastic grooves they were in. Have to trash it. Thought it would last longer. 4 stars.

I love this cooler! How much you can fit in it, the easy in which you could travel with it...
I vend desserts at events that need to stay quite cold (raw cheesecakes), and between this and these amazing ice packs I bought, I am not worried about my treats getting too warm. I could keep them in there all day! The handle extends easily, the wheels work well, and the weight of the cooler is not bad if you can't roll it around. Wonderful quality. This is my second coleman cooler. And it will not be my last :)

Ice doesn't last
Great cooler that's sturdy. However, it does not keep ice for 5 days. I went camping and had to replenish the ice probably 2 times over 5 days. It was summer but not overly hot at the time either. So that was disappointing, but overall I like it. It's nice to be able to fit a large amount of cans, bottles, and food items in this without the cooler being one of the huge long ones. The lid can be difficult to open, but at least it's secure. You just have to pull up on it kind of hard. I love that this cooler has an extendable handle and wheels to make transport easier. While I wish the ice stayed longer, I'm still happy with the purchase.

Happy with it. Survived an "Oops"
I've never used a Yeti and so I can't really compare it. All I know is that this product received great reviews by different websites and so that's why I ordered it for camping this past weekend. The weather was no hotter than 65 degrees during the day and it went down to about 38 degrees at night. Of note, I didn't leave it in the shade. The ice started to melt by the end of day 2. Not a lot but enough to notice. By day 3, it was about 50-60 percent melted. The melted part was cold but I had to get a 2nd bag. I arrived on a Friday and left on a Sunday. I left some water bottles in the cooler and last night, the bottles were still really cold. It tasted as cold as if I would have retrieved it from the fridge. The wheels are sturdy and came in super handy. They feel sturdy and are able to easily hold the load. I had 16 water bottles, an entire salad container, roasted chicken, pudding, and 1 pd of sliced deli meat. There was plenty of room left. At first I thought it would be too large for just 1-2 people, but it's actually just right. You can put the ice, add the liquids, then layer again with ice and put items that need less "refrigeration" on top. Or just fill it up with beer (ah, the old days! LOL). About the oops, so, I had the Coleman behind my car. Yep, I hit it. I was going in reverse slowly but I easily heard the "thunk". Other than falling on its side, nothing happened to it. Doesn't even have a scratch. Again, in complete transparency, I was reversing exceedingly slow as I was repositioning the car. But was really happy that it didn't 'bend in' or something.

Flimsy Wheels and Handle, SCAM customer service site
EDIT: Coleman's customer service line is worse than anything you can imagine. Once you finally get the bot to try to connect you to a person, they tell you the wait is an hour. You ask or a callback... The callback comes and immediately hangs up when you answer. You can bet they know of these failings and just don't care. Cheaper to do pretend CS than the real thing. Never buying anything from Coleman (NewellRubbermaid) again. Heavy duty wheels is a lie. The wheels are terribly flimsy. Mine are awful after half a dozen uses. The cooler itself does a decent job for a cheap cooller, keeping icewater and drinks cold for about a day, but even only loaded half full with a couple of gallons worth of ice water it is too heavy for the flimsy wheels. The handle is also kind of flimsy and does not retract smoothly. Since day 1, the handle has hammed halfway down and must be jiggled forcefully side to side to get the pins to slide so it will retract the rest of the way. Worst of all, Colemans warranty claim site is a straight-up scam. It doesn't work. It demands a bunch of information, some of which isn't available in the forms they claim it is (eg date code). Then, the photos it demands MUST be <3mb, which means nothing taken with a modern phone will work. You will have to spend time downsizing images. When you FINALLY get it all uploaded and hit submit, it ERRORS out on you, tells you to refresh the page and try again, which means STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN FROM ZERO. This is clearly left this awful as a way to reduce warranty claims. You can be Coleman knows EXACTLY how bad its site is, how often this fails, so their refusal to make it work is intentional -- so they don't have to answer for their awful product.
