This is the first time I’ve used these sponges and I’m sold!! I’ve already ordered more. They apply super smooth and don’t leave brush strokes. They are easy to work with and the perfect size to hold in your hand. Rinse with a bit of water before starting and they absorb your paint well. Each sponge lasted longer than I expected and worked out so great. I highly recommend.

I've tried a couple kinds of paint sponges and these are the best. Wide area and holds alot of paint to cover easily. Makes the job so much quicker.Also, I can get a few uses out of one sponge if I wash them. Other cheap sponges will start flaking/shedding after one wash. So it doesn't matter that others are cheaper - can't get as much use out if them.Note that you can't paint for hours on end with the same sponge because it becomes too saturated, like any foam applicator does. This is why it's sometimes better to use a couple sponges for one job and then wash them immediately after using. Don't let them dry before washing or dried paint will not always come out and makes the edges hard. Useless at that point.Really nice sponges. Wish they were cheaper, but nothing good is cheap.

This sponge works well for most finishes. I gave it a four star rating because it can only be used one time and then disposed of.

Ease of application

Painting furniture is fun. But the top coat/ clear coat is always nerve wracking. These sponges make it a breeze. Easy to work. Helps avoid streaks. I cut one in half for smaller surfaces. They rinse well. All good!

It goes on easily and the brushes and sponges clean with warm water — I plan to buy a different color for another project I have! Dries within a couple hours too
