I have done a dozen or more laptop/iPhone/iPad replacements. Not my favorite thing to do, but when I do I follow a video carefully and have had success. On this iPhone xsmax I did it all as normal, it looked good, and then right before I was ready to stick it down I did one more check and it failed. I detached and reattached it all 2 more times and nothing. Statistically speaking, I guess it was likely I was due a dud product at some point. So I put my SIM into my old 6s phone, and filed an exchange form with Amazon. I worried that I would be without my phone for a while. But two days later (and I live in rural VT) my replacement screen showed up, I installed it, and I’m good to go again.

I recieved this screen and had it installed. The screen freezes all the time and its beyond frustrating. It freezes when the phone is turned on, when you open an app, when you're just swiping from one screen to another. It takes a few minutes for the screen to shut itself off when the phone is turned off or i press the sleep button...I know because the screen stays lit but its all black. I thought it was just the first screen I recieved from them - so I ordered a replacement and the same thing happened. Save yourself some greif and spend a little more to get a better screen - which i did and i have 0 complaints with the new screen from a different seller. Not sure where the positive reviews came from for this item.

I’m so impressed with this kit! The screen quality is crystal clear, and all the tools included made installation super easy. Everything worked perfectly on my iPhone XS Max — definitely worth it for the price. Highly recommend!

I had purchased a screen prior to this one and after installation, which went without a hitch, The screen begin to separate at the bezel. I replaced these screens before and theyre rather straightforward and simple. I included a picture with arrows to describe where it was separating from. This was of course a manufacturer's defect and not through any fault of my own, And I expected Ace tech to immediately tell me the warranty was void considering I had already installed it. And much to my surprise, they sent me a new one immediately and told me to just send back the old one whenever I could. And that, is why I gave four stars instead of two. Everything went perfectly fine, maybe just a little better on the quality control would be my only advice. However,despite all this, I will definitely do business again.

Works well but know this is a cheap LCD screen so it does not function like a $600 oem screen would. Good part if your looking for cheap.
