Didn't work for me
I still got algae in the fountain and didn't dare up the dose for fear I might hurt the birds using it.

Completely changed water clarity!! I HIGHLY recommend as long as you use sparingly.
I read the reviews and I was nervous since we recently added new Koi after losing some big ones last year. We have a 200gal pond. I don’t know why but despite doing everything our pond was completely taken over with algae. I did SMALL AMOUNTS every day for about 6 days and today I couldn’t believe I could see the bottom of the pond and all the fish 🥹 I used this in tandem with Dr. Raifyas Pond Refresher and wow! No fish loss. If you use a couple cap fulls a day, you’ll be good. On the 5th day, I used a bit more and was able to see to clean the excess algae and buildup off the sides and surfaces and did it one more time today. Highly recommend.

Doesn't really work very long
Not the best product for my bucket fountain. I have to add more often than recommended. My water does clear up, but there is still algae in the bottom and I have cleaned it. I won't buy again 16 oz bottle

Great for algae in a planted tank
This works great! I had some green hair algae all over my tank and didn’t want to get shrimp if the water quality was bad enough to cause that hair algae, so with one dose of this and a couple water changes the algae melted right off. I do have to say with more delicate plants in the tank like Monte Carlo or pearl weed, that they did turn a little yellow after using this, but it did not fully kill them, so they were able to recover fine.

This is stated to be hazardous to both humans, pets, most fish, and plant material .
I purchased this product based its misleading , I believe, description, suggesting that it is safe to use around fish. In fact, I saw fish on the label. Upon receipt and reading all of the precautions regarding its handling, its use and being hazardous to humans, animals, fish and landscaping, I immediately returned it. The Description on this product should clearly state how hazardous it is. Firstly, it is poisonous to both humans animals, birds, and most fish. Not uncommon but not clear in its description. If you handle it, it is recommended you wear both safety glasses and gloves and if you happen to get any on bare skin or clothing that you immediately wash it. You can imagine about getting it in your eyes by mistake. I believe the description is inadequate. Also, when it is shipped, the bottle is inside a plastic bag with a zip tire on it and then you will receive it in either a plastic bag or a box. There are actually no markings on the box regarding its toxicity. If you have a pond in your yard it is likely frequent by birds, butterflies, and possibly your own pets. This Product may make them very ill or possibly kill them. When you read the complete description, it is only recommended to be used with two types of fish. Also it will kill your plants and requires that your pond be aerated. After doing my return, I went through and read some of the reviews and also found that there were many questions about its capability in doing its prescribed main purpose of killing algae. Based on the above, I gave this product a one star rating as I believe it is in accurately advertised and the posts about its effectiveness. If you buy and use this product, please be very careful for yourself, your children, your pets and any other wildlife that might take a drink of water after this is used in your pond or fountain. It states it is also damaging to landscaping so, where are you going to use this product safely. Quite frankly, I cannot think of many uses for it based upon its limitations of killing both plants and animals let alone its general toxicity.

Effective if used correctly!
This product worked well for us. I was nervous after reading some reviews about it killing fish, but after trying a number of organic products and barley, with no results, we tried this. We had removed trees and our pond is in the direct sun. Because of that, we had a rampant string algae issue. The water got progressively greener to the point you couldn’t see more than an inch or so down. We have around a 1,000 gallon koi pond, but I added only four tablespoons, which is the recommendation for around 700 gallons. After a couple weeks, our pond is clear! We have a filter falls and a separate fountain that also has a small filter. It’s critical that you keep your water running well in order to not reduce oxygen levels for your fish. And don’t overdose! It may seem like it’s not working and you may want to add more but give it a couple weeks at least!

Product seems to work well considering only had used it a few days ago, after a long delay (from my end) to receive
