Needed plumber to install
Perfect replacement part but needed plumber to install.

The tube is grey plastic rather than the original chrome colour but otherwise it’s great.
It’s not easy to fit, but that’s the design of the shower holder and how the cable comes through the pipe, but considering this, it’s not the hardest. Read instructions carefully and work through methodically and hold on to any screws you remove as they need to go back in the right place

Expensive clamp, second one in 3 years
Second replacement in 3 years. Pinch mechanism failed (broken parts) and clamp slid to bottom of rail. Original lasted 5 years.Have to dismantle fitting from bottom to slide pinch grip up pole. YouTube videos on line show what to do.

Fit for Purpose
I bought it as my previous power shower holder broke…after several years…and it does what it is supposed to do, i.e. hold the shower head securely…

Met the purpose
As of now it’s meeting my purpose and working fine. Also 25.4mm is right size which written on the bottom of the punch grip. Need to observe durability as that is the only concern.

A good replacemen
Not sure if this is a genuine replacement as the one from Aqualisa is nearly 50% dearer. How ever time will tell

Broken in 10 months
The shower head holder worked just fine, but it broke within 10 months, the pivot of the pinch mechanism just snapped off. The stainless steel pivot pin goes through two very flimsy plastic fingers on each part, they interlock with the pin going through them to make the pivot. As an engineer, with some experience of plastic moulding, the 'fingers' are way to thin, and there's no reason for it as there is plenty of room in the holder to make them sturdier. It's just bad design.I won't be buying another one.

Fits the pole
Replacement for a 20yr old Aqualisa shower fitting which has been great value but began losing its grip, tried a cheap alternative but couldn’t get the right angle on the shower head as too close to the wall. This is the updated version of the original and tho a bit expensive well worth it as good as the original.
