Great design for a child that likes movement and action
This is a no-holds barred smash-up toy, so you either love it or you don't! Fast and furious, this responds to the sounds other toys make and responds accordingly. Standard remote control functioanlity, this car can climb and is versatile.

Loads of noisy crashy fun
The media could not be loaded. The Grrrumball is a radio control... thing. It's a big ball thing that has 2x arms. It can spin, zoom around and essentially bash and smash into anything and everyone. The Grrrumball itself is quite a solid thing. Very sturdy and well made. The controller feels a bit cheaper tbh - and is shaped like a small gamepad.Using the buttons on the controller also generates noises and sounds from the Grrrumball. They are QUITE annoying. These sounds can be muted via a switch on the controller, the only question is will the kid playing with it bother to turn the noise off?The radio control pad requires 3x AAA batteries (which are included) whilst the Grrrumball needs 4x AA batteries which are NOT included. The Grrrumball i received operated at the 2.4 GHZ frequency.Playing with it was a lot of fun and reminded me of Christmas mornings with a new toy - but I strongly reccomend adult supervision over any youngsters who might be given one - small pets and babies are going to be quite alarmed by this in action.I'm going to give this a strong 4 out of 5. (If you could choose which colour and frequency model you get it would go up to 5 - but this selection seems to be random)

Unusual toy
The media could not be loaded. I found this ' Grumball Remote Control Vehicle,Multicolored ' sturdy, well made from high quality materials. Also,it is nicely and stylish presented,so attracted my kids attention immediately. However,I was little bit disappointed, because the grumball works well only on hard surface,my kids play room covered with soft foam tiles,so this toy did not work here and we had to use it in a sitting room or kitchen. But on hard floor it makes huge noise,so if you live in a block of flats it could annoy your neighbours a lot. Also,I found this grumball quite difficult to control and understand what it have to do and how to play.On other hand,my kids enjoy playing with it and think that spinning mode is cool and stunning,so probably worth to try, maybe your kids also like it.It is very unusual toy.

Very well made remote control mechanical monster ... great fun
Wow! This must be by far the best remote controlled toy at this price and for this age group that I've seen.'Grumball' is a remote controlled mechanical monster type vehicle that is relentless in its pursuit whilst it is rolling and attacking. It is bright red/black, very robust and measures 25.4cm x 14cm x 14cm with glowing eyes. It comes with its own 2.4ghz controller, however please note it does not come with any batteries. You will need 4 x AA batteries for the reptile and 3 x AAA batteries for the controller. In motion this machine is relentless, it's fast and it rolls, flips and crawls in any direction, there are many different moves to master including thumping its fists onto the floor in a menacing way. The controller is fairly easy to use, however to accomplish all of the creatures driving tricks takes a bit of practice. Rolling is easy to activate you just need to click a button on the remote and the machine instantly rolls really fast. The speed and distance of the various moves is dependant on how fast the machine was going before you activate one of the moves. The Grumball can handle almost any terrain, rough or smooth. Also using the controller it can be manoeuvred through various obstacles. The age group for this toy is 8 plus and my ten year old nephew is absolutely thrilled with this machine and the novelty factor (of some of the tricks) hasn't yet worn off in the three weeks he has been playing with it.Brilliant.

Noisy, quick and lots of fun for kids
OK from an adult perspective, this is noisy and bigger than expected , but from a kids perspective its amazing - noisy, remote controlled mechanical monster to terrorise the dolls and parents. The kids have played and played with this to the point of distraction. Get yourself plenty of batteries because the kids are going to love this mechanical beast.

ROUGH AND TUMBLE
I thought this would be a great present for my nephew, who is, like this toy, a bit rough and tumble. No flimsy remote control car or drone would survive very long in his hands, so imagine my delight at seeing this thing. It very much reminds me of a smaller version of something you would see on robot wars. Perhaps not the prettiest thing you've ever seen but by gum it motors along and shrugs off crashes into walls, furniture...... oh yes, perhaps outdoors may be better.........

Because Remote Control Cars are not Vicious Enough
We have had remote control cars in the house before and they can be a menace to society, not only getting underfoot, but also being rammed into your shins. If you child is the type that likes to use their remote-control cars for war, then the 'Grumball Remote Control Vehicle' will be perfect for them. It takes the concept of using the remote control as a vicious toy and rolls with it.'Grumball' is more akin to something you would expect on Robot Wars than in the toy aisle, but if played with sensibly it is just good fun. The main body of the toy is a track that propels it forwards. You also get to swing the hands around by using the controller. For something that is a ball it is very fast moving, especially on a smooth surface. It may be a little too fast for a front room if there is not too much room. If you can find some smooth outdoor space it works great.Added to the speed is the noises that it makes - manic grunts and squeaks. This added to the cool look means that it is a toy that a child will love to bomb all around the place. With this in mind, you need to be able to trust your kid not to break stuff. The age range of 8+ is about right as you need a child who is a little sensible or at least will listen to you when they are being told of.
