On the front of the bottle the capsules are 1200 mg. On the back of the bottle it says the serving size is 2 capsules for the same 1200. Which one??

Its highly deceptive advertising and intentionally misleading to title the product so that it IMPLIES each capsule is 1200mg. EVERY OTHER red rice supplement lists the mg count as per-capsule. This product is trying to cheat you into believing you are getting more for your money, since 1200mg is the serving amount recommended by all the 600mg capsule makers. Should change the brand name to Purely Misleading.

How long before any results?

Every person will react differently. which also has to be considered with side effects. I have been taken RYR for at least 10 years and has always worked for me. If you would like a reference, I'd get a bloodwork done to get the baseline, take RYR for a month or so and then get another bloodwork done. You do see diminishing results so what I do (per a Naturepath Dr's recommendation) is to get a bottle of 60 pills (2-month worth) and then rest for a month. I prefer to buy the Made in the USA brands but more established ones and for sure those brands who DO NOT show "1200mg" as content and then on small caps "Serving Size: 2 capsule" like this brand. So I am avoiding this Company for now. Good Luck

How can this supplement reduce cholesterol if it does not contain monacolin K?

I don’t know all the specifics but after losing over 100 pounds, my numbers were terrible! Total cholesterol was 280. After taking this product for about 6 months, my last blood work showed same category was down to 105. My physician wanted to prescribe a statin, but I said I wanted to try this product for 6 months. She was very impressed! Will never be without it.

Why does it have the California P65Warnings label for reproductive health?

Rice products tend to be naturally high in heavy metals and arsenic. According to California Prop 65 rules and regulations, any product with rice in it, must show this warning on the label because it may affect reproductive health. I asked my internist, and she thinks taking this supplement is not dangerous.

Highly recommended!

My cholesterol has been steadily rising since I went into perimenopause, it topped out at 269, even though i have not changed my eating habits or my workout routine. I started taking this supplement everyday but only 2 pills a day. My cholesterol dropped to 209! I haven’t changed my diet or my exercise routine. I am going to start taking it at the recommended dose and see what my cholesterol is in 6 months. Overall, I highly recommend this product!!

Inconsistant "Suggested Use"

I've been using this product for a few years now and it has worked for me, but as I get older my numbers are increasing a bit. I always thought I was supposed to take 2 capsules daily, but my son told me his bottle indicates to take 2 capsules, twice a day - so I checked my bottle and sure enough that is what it indicated. Recently, I purchased a new bottle, but it indicates to only take 2 daily, not twice a day, so now I am so confused and need clarification!
