I love the pan and use it a few times a week. I haven’t tried it in the oven. It does say not to put it in the dishwasher and I thought, it won’t hurt it, I’ll try it. Well, the handle *fills* up with water and it’s extremely difficult to get it out! You have to spend about 5 minutes shaking it over a sink to get it out (there is no opening and there isn’t meant to be). Heed my advice and wash it by hand like they recommend. Every time I forget, I quickly remember and mentally kick myself again. As for cooking, the heat distribution is not bad, it’s obviously hotter in the middle. Non stick is pretty good too. Overall, a very good pan and washes easy…so don’t put it in the dishwasher!

Great pans that cook evenly and food does not stick.

Great 8” non-stick pan. The plus factor for me was the lid. So hard to find small fry pans that are not connected to a whole set of pans, that come with a lid. Cleanup is great! I put the lid in dishwasher but hand wash the pan. Think it’s better in the long run for the non-stick feature of the pan.

We have an older version of this one that we've used almost every day. It finally got to where it was starting to stick so we decided to get a new one. The old one was black where this new one is grey and the old one had a Bakelite handle where the new one has a stainless steel one. This new one has the steel handle which does get too hot to hold onto for very long. Also, this new one has a convex bottom, so when you pour oil into it the oil all runs to the outer edges of the pan. Other than the handle and convex bottom it's a great pan that nothing (so far) has been sticking to.

I've purchased multiple Koch System pans, and I'll keep buying more. Great heat distribution and the surface prevents sticking. Not much else needs to be said. They are the best "budget" pans you can buy.

I have used this pan only a few weeks and I am surprised at how effectlive it is. It is very light weight which concerned me but that has proven to be an asset, rather than a defect. Following instructions I use very low heat and was surprised at how well the pan performed. Heat distributes evenly....often a problem in low priced pans. I am very careful and do not use abrasive utinsels in cooking or cleaning and so I can't rate its scratch resistence. I am quite satisfied and look forward to many years of effective use. ( the pan it replaced was 7 years old.). I use the pan every day , frequently two or three times, and so far, so good. ( i have several pans this size, most not coated, and find that I prefer using this coated pan). It is extremely easy to clean.

I initially gave this pan a 5-star review, but after using this pan for after a few months, there's an inherent design flaw regarding how the handle is secured to the glass cover. Under the glass cover, there's a metal washer and a nut which anchors the screw & handle to the cover. The problem is that the handle is constantly coming loose, and after each use of the cover, I need to tighten the screw. The problem? The metal washer slips against the glass surface. I tighten the screw as much as possible without cracking the glass, but it never holds. A better choice would have been a rubber washer so that it won't slip against the glass. Therefore, if you purchase this pan, have a screwdriver on hand because you're going to need to tighten the screw with each use of the cover. If a hot cover should slip off, there's also a potential safety issue with getting burned. I also think it could be a potential liability issue. It's simply a nuisance to need to tighten the cover after each use. I still like the pan, but the cover is another matter. I love this pan and its high-quality. I especially like how the heat evenly distributes at the bottom of the pan, creating more even cooking without "cold" spots as some pans do. I especially appreciate the smaller size I ordered because as a single person, I may just want to cook a hamburger or hot dog for lunch without dirtying a larger pan. Clean-up of the pan is a breeze. When I received the pan, and after washing it, I did season the pan with some oil even though the instructions didn't indicate it was necessary. I plan to buy a larger size of this pan as I get rid of my older, Teflon pan, which is beginning to show some wear. I highly recommend this pan.

I love this pan! I have had it for about 3 weeks now. It is the best pan I have ever owned so far. Nothing sticks to it and the cleanup is so easy! I fry 5 to 6 eggs in it. I use no butter, oil, nothing but a bit of water. This pan is so easy to clean that I don't even have to wipe it. I just give is a spray and it is like new. I am happy I ordered 2 of these. Update: My excitement in these pans were short lived. I have had them just under 1 year and the coating is chipping and discolored on BOTH, also, the lids no longer fit either pan. I guess the pans have warped. They are still non stick but with the chipping I no longer feel safe using these.

Perfect for two people. Great breakfast pan.

We love this. Easy to clean. It’s been burned and still comes back to completely clean. I bought it for my son learning to cook, and it has stood the test of over-zealous cooking.
