A little fussy
Easy to assemble, but, tricky to work consistently. Discovered that the drip rate (although nicely adjusted in this product initially) is dependent on consistent water pressure. Found that as the bottle empties, the water pressure lessens, so, the drip will stop if had been set for a slow drip rate. A little fussy.

Not Worth the Money
These were a waste of money. Even with the valves all the way open, they do not drip. The bottle was full even after 24 hours. They also do not fit on a regular size water bottle (they fit on soda bottles) I tried several adjustments, but the result was always the same, no water came out unless I squeezed the bottle. I had a similar type plant water system I used a couple of years ago, they worked great, they did not have valves. They had two fine holes at the bottom where the water came through. Never lost a plant with them. I got the old ones out and using them again. Working fine. I only bought the new ones because I have more plants to water now and needed extras. I'm thinking about drilling a couple of holes in them like old ones had.

Sort of worked, wouldn't buy again
I was going to be gone for almost 2 weeks and wanted something for my outdoor deck planters to keep the plants alive, so I tried these. I tried to use 2L bottles, which are just too big and top-heavy for the spikes...they wouldn't stay upright and the weight of the filled 2L bottle would push the spikes into the soil to where the spigot was touching (or embedded in) the soil and that messed up the drip pattern. I ended up leaning the bottles against the deck railing to keep them upright. Smaller bottles would definitely be better, but I didn't try them. The spikes arrive in a compact package with the drip spigots separate. When I inserted the spigots into the holes in the spikes, I discovered they don't seal and water leaks around the spigot tap, no matter how firmly inserted. I ended up having to use plumbing thread tape around all the taps so they wouldn't leak. Calibrating the drip was a total pain. Using the included calculation, I needed one drip every 30 seconds. It was very time-consuming to time a drip, adjust the spigot, time the drip, adjust the spigot, time the drip, adjust the spigot... Especially since the knob on the spigot was not at all precise. It was extremely frustrating. If used on indoor plants with much smaller bottles and over much shorter time periods, they might be ok. Just have some thread tape handy and be prepared to spend a lot of time fussing with getting the drip calibrated.

Works for my potted plants.
These are pretty amazing water distributors for plants. We have several potted plants and left for 6 days and the plants looked fine & had water left in bottle. So works like the maker states. Gave 4 stars because these fit bottles that are not your average water bottle.

These totally work!
Don't be fooled by the lazy peeps here complaining about it not fitting a "standard" water bottle, your standard might be different from others standard water bottles, don't get mad, complain and give 1 star because it didn't fit the bottle you had, get a bottle that fits and go on with your day! I have found many different brands it fits on. I prefer the 1.5L bottles of Fiji or 1L bottles as the 1.5's are hard to find. I drill a 1/4" hole in bottoms of them to prevent a vacuum. I will take a little time to get your drip just right for how long you want it last. I like the 1.5L for weekends, I go to my cabin almost every weekend, fill and set them on Friday morning come back on Sunday night and maybe an inch of water is remaining in the bottle, if its really hot they are empty but the soil isn't dried out that much, tomato plants will droop or wilt over if dry soil, mine are rarely like that when i get home and only when its 90+ outside. I'll use 2 or sometimes 3 in one bucket (I'm a bucket gardener in the city) if I'm going to be gone for more than a weekend. I love these things, so will you if you have a little patience and tenacity to get the drip rate you want and you'll love them too.

Didnt fit any of my bottles
This is a great idea but not executed great. Out of the 5 bottles i saved for these, only one fit. and most were generic water bottles. So you really need a very specfic water bottle. Did not work for us as we were leaving for vacation and needed these immediately and didnt have time to find extra botles that may fit so had to return them. disappointing

Easy to use.
These are a reasonable price and solves my problem of my plants drying out quickly. I like the adjustable drip valve so I can water with just the right amount.

Don’t waste your money
The concept is good but the product is not. These appear to fit on water bottles but they do not. The opening is too large for an average small water bottle to screw into. I had to poke a hole in the lid with an ice pick and balance the bottle in it. The regulating valve on most would not allow a small drip, it wouldn’t allow water through until it was fully opened then water would flow a steady stream and empty the bottle in a small amount of time or the bottle would fall off of it completely because it would not screw in. The instructions say to puncture a hole in the bottom of the bottle but due to having to leave the lid on and puncturing a hole in the lid if a hole is in the bottom as well water flows through constantly with no control.

I gave this a try after I was accused of killing our plants every time I travel overseas! Worked surprisingly well, plants were still alive after about 3 weeks away! Some leaves were yellowish in colour, indicating water flow might have been a bit slower than what it should. Quality is acceptable, and function might be tricky to adjust first, but for what this is worth, it did the job!

These simply do not work. They are so shoddily made that it is impossible to calibrate the drippers for any extended plant watering. We were away for a week and lost 2 hanging baskets due to these lousy devices. I spent hours trying to calibrate the number of drips per hour, and when I came home from vacation, half the bottles were still full, and half were empty. In addition, 3 of the spikes were not sealed, and dripped water from the tip of the spike. I had to wrap with electrical tape to stop the dripping. I definitely do not recommend.

No se puede ajustar con sensatez, ya sea demasiado o nada. No tiene nada que ver con las gotas. No recomendable.
