Recipes Need Work
The information about BLW was good, but the recipes are terrible. A lot of the recipes call for a fair amount of sugar, salt or are fried, many are extremely time consuming, and three of the dishes got thrown directly into the trash after my family tasted them - lots of wasted time, food and money.

Supplement with recipes from the internet
I got this in the mail yesterday, shipping was fast. Already excited to try the recipes. My baby is 11 months old, has eczema, and teething really badly. We had not been very adventurous with solids because of her eczema. She had recently refused to eat all purees and anything requiring spoonfeeding, and would rather eat with her hands. As a first time mom working from home, I was struggling to find easy recipes that met her dietary needs as well as mine and her dad's. This book is practical and has a lot of recipes from one source. That said, I still make changes as needed because of my daughter's eczema. I plan to supplement the recipes with the ones I found on the internet. I took off a star because of the following:1) Every recipe should have a picture of the finished product, as well as visuals on things like how cut food should look like by age, and a picture of every step in the cooking process.2) I would have also appreciated a list of substitutions, but I think that's every mom's call.3) I found the paperback format a little inconvenient. It doesn't stay open to the page I want. Would have preferred something ring bound so it's easy to prop against the kitchen wall while you're cooking.

Buy it!
Great book on BLW. Easy read! Which is super important when you have little ones. Can def read it in an hour or less. Very useful info and has a bunch if diff recipes. I highly recommend and would def buy again. I also really enjoyed the other 2 very popular baby led feeding/weaning books. You don't need all three but I found each to be useful

Great resource for feeding babies-adults and learning about how to establish great eating habits
With three kids ages 3 and under, I am always looking for fun, healthy recipes to keep my kids eating a variety of foods. This book offers tons of intel about feeding little bodies and so many amazing recipes. It also helps that recipes are labeled with helpful tags like gluten or nut free. Introductory paragraphs about each recipe also help you learn more about it.

Missing some help tips
Helpful with recipes and beginner stuff however I would have like visuals for how to cut basic foods up or cook basic food not just recipes.

Good book
Have some suggestions of menu for baby and detail how to cut the food, food allergy and safe for baby. One thing I'm not to sure we can use smoothie for baby at 6-8m which is introduced in the book.

This is a must have if you have babies!!
Loved the entire thing. It's amazing and a must have for your baby registry and your infant or toddlers. Easy enough to follow the instructions and makes food the whole family can enjoy. It really helps explain to you how to cut up/cook all the food to make it easier (and safe) for your baby to eat.
