Iris & Lilly Women's Short Terry Towelling Robe

Just love this dressing gown. It seems to be very good quality, much better than my towels! It is thicker than I expected, which I'm glad about as I can start wearing it right now rather than waiting until the weather is a bit warmer. My old one has a hood which I hate and so now I have one with a lovely neckline that sits beautifully. The blue is gorgeous. I can't say how it washes as it has only just arrived and I have put it straight on but I will definitely wash it by hand the first time to see if the colour runs. The only thing I would say is be careful of what size you order. I am only 5' and a size 8 and I was undecided whether to order the S or XS. Luckily I went for the S as I like a dressing gown to wrap around a bit, but it doesn't wrap around much. When tied quite tight it overlaps about 9" at waist level, so the XS would definitely have been unwearable. I am keeping the S because it is too much hassle to send it back and it is still a lovely fit generally, but if I'd had the benefit of hindsight I would have ordered the M. I shall just have to be careful it is not gaping lower down when I'm walking about when I need to preserve my modesty!

Not the softest, fluffiest robe you’ll ever own, but washes well and is true to size. The material is mid - weight and the colour is nice, so it is good value for the bargain price. I found the finish a bit rough (threads left on the seams), alright for me to wear but I wouldn’t give as a gift.

I wanted a short towelling dressing without a hood and there isn't a good selection to choose from.This feels nice and light but in a slightly budget kind of way. Size 12 fits over pyjamas but made me feel like I need to lose a couple of inches from my shoulders. Exchanged it for a size 14 which has more shoulder room but the chest is large. I suppose it's a good choice to wear over normal clothes around the house during the day.It's a nice gown but I'm not impressed with Iris and Lilly as a whole. Even though it's an Amazon brand, it feels like a poor relation to the Amazon Basics range which tends to be better quality.I paid £15 so kept it because it's good for the price. Wouldn't pay much more than that to be honest. Although there's such a poor selection of unhooded towelling dressign gowns that maybe it's worth it just for that.The blue colour is lovely but the material is thinner than expected and there are a few loose threads. I'd have returned it if it wasn't for the price.

Bought this item for my son and he loves it. The dressing gown fits well and is not too long as so many are, the quality is great nice and thick and absorbent. We have had this item for a while now and it washes superbly with no colour run and maintains its softness really well. This is a quality item at a very reasonable price considering what you can pay for complete tat. highly recommended

Fits well, looks good. But not soft against skin and not lightweight. A shame, materialjust not as comfortable or cosy as could be expected.

Great little gown . I bought it for when I get out of the shower , just to wrap myself in it . Haven’t used yet as I just received it today so can’t say about absorbency! I have tried it on & it’s great . Good length & weight . Sleeves not to long just rolled up . It’s a lovely quality towelling, softy& light .I really do recommend this garment . I’m 5ft 2 & size 14 . Bought my correct size . Great fit great length . 100% happy with this purchase .

Love the style with no collar, it makes it cooler to wear. Bought two different colours.

Really impressed with this, it's great quality and I appreciate that the fabric around the neck is minimal so they it doesn't get gooped up from using lotions on my face and neck.
