Ice to fine!
I was hoping the crushed ice would be a bit bigger in size, I don't need snow cone size pieces of ice.The Ice crusher works well, even if it a bit on the noisy side..

The first one broke that was almost like this one in 2 weeks
This is my 2nd one and the mixer has already broke out of the pitcher so it has a piece of tape on the bottom of the pitcher, when this one breaks I'm not buying another one. The first one broke that was almost like this one in 2 weeks. Mine is a twice a week use.

Not as fine as I expected, design could be a bit better, but crushes ice.
I have never had an ice crusher/frozen drink maker before so I was not sure what to expect.I would first say this is an ice crusher. It crushes ice better than my ice maker in my freezer, but it is not as fine, even on the fine setting, as what you would get in a restaurant/bar with a frozen drink.I have also only made two drinks in it so far. It is turned on and off by locking the ice cover on the top. It is not intuitive and reading the directions before trying it, I did not understand that point. But once you understand how to turn it on and off without having to unplug it it works good. It does take a little force to turn the cover so I don't think that is the best design. Having the on and off on the bottom by locking the cup into place would probably be a better choice, or an actual on and off button would work too.The mixer portion is fine, will be easy to wash, but also looks like it will be very easy to break and/or lose.My summary impression is that it works well to crush ice, but I am not sure it is going to really work as a drink maker and I am not sure the design is the best for long term use. I will update if my impressions change._________update: My wife has been using it to make iced coffee for the past week or so. She agrees that it is not as fine as you would expect, but it is serviceable. The mixer is simple, but it mixes. It is really just the on and off that is a continued problem. It is too hard to get in place and turn on and off. I assume this is partially a safety issue because that blade could do damage to fingers, but there has to be a better way.
