Lyrakis Family Olive Oil 1L – Greek Extra Virgin, Premium First Cold Pressed, High Polyphenols, Handpicked Olives, New Harvest, Fresh Juice from Crete – Since 1975

This is a gorgeous, high quality and great tasting olive oil. I've been buying it on subscription for some time now and can't say that I have had any issues with it, so will keep buying. The price point is very good and taste is delicious. The colour is amazing, and I decant it for use on the table (as shown in the picture), to pour onto bread, pasta or a salad.

I holidayed in Crete last year and had the pleasure of visiting the Lyrakis family olive oil mill to sample and purchase some of their delicious products. I brought quite a few bottles back and these quickly ran out, so I was delighted to find it listed here on amazon! This is a high quality, versatile oil with a lovely clean taste. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality oil. Miles better than anything you'll find in the UK supermarkets and better priced as well! Would love if they sold some of their other varieties in here too!

A repeat purchase as I really like the flavour.It is slightly bitter because of its high polyphenol content which was my reason for purchase, because of its known health benefits.The oil is a beautiful colour and my tin of oil has a 2 year shelf life. I use it both for cooking, as a salad dressing, and as a supplement added to my morning herbalifeshake. I highly recommend this cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.

This is a perfect everyday olive oil at a great price. Don't misunderstand, this is not your supermarket style oil, it's a wonderfully flavorful, fruity, mildly peppery oil that can do anything, mopped up on sourdough, salad dressing, roasting vegetables, making a chimichurri, anything..... Don't tell too many people I want it to always be in stock for me, I'm on my 3rd fully recyclable tin now!

Really lovely olive oil. I love that it is cold pressed, and single origin. It has been great in salad dressings and on top of various dips, as well as pastas and pizza. Highly recommend it.

Very good. Has a slight bitter tast but thats what I was looking for. The bitterness is the chemical which is really good for your health. I found the top was a little awqward to open!

The media could not be loaded. While other people just eat Extra Virgin Olive Oil, it is the main ingredient in our Olive Butter - body moisturiser. After trying several Extra Virgin Olive Oil from various companies across the world, we finally settled for Lyrakis' brand. I can confirm that it is a high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We also use it in all our cooking, to promote healthy heart function. It has real Olive juice taste. Smooth and velvety. It arrives well packaged. One can tell that a lot of love and good intentions have been poured into the product. I also love the fact that it's a family treasure. By the way, I've purchased the product 3 times now.
