Good tape but meant to order plastic not paper.
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE 9/27/24: The vendor reached out and allowed me to return the tape for a full refund. I just purchsed the plastic version, which is tackier and not paper. I will write a review once I get a chance to use it. Since the vendor cares and made it right, Ihave adjusted my review rating. This tape is old and difficult to pull off the roll. What I was able to pull off the roll I used on 3 decals. It worked decently, but not as good as the plastic version. I installed one of my custom vinyls with it, and overall it was satisfactory. It did not leave residue as promised but wish its adhesive was stronger.See video.

Not real sticky
I like this when I’m transferring on to wood. It’s not really sticky so it’s good crafts like wood.

Disappointed with This Roll – Too Much Waste
I’ve used a lot of paper transfer tape over the years, so I know what to expect when it comes to quality and usability. I was hoping this 12' x 100' roll would be a good addition to my supplies, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.Right off the bat, I noticed something was off when I started unrolling it. A large portion of the tape was stuck to itself. It wasn’t just a little edge curled; full sections were practically glued together. No matter how carefully I tried to separate it, it just tore or stayed bunched up, making that section totally unusable. It was frustrating, especially when I’m in the middle of a project and trying to move efficiently.I’ve never had this issue with other brands I’ve used, so this was definitely a letdown. When it did work, the tape performed decently - it picked up and released fine, and the tack level seemed about right. But with so much waste, it kind of cancels out any of the positives. I expect to get a full 100 feet of usable tape, not fight with the roll every few feet.

Updated :: now working as advertized / Too difficult to unroll; works well for laser engraving
Bought this to use for laser engravings. Is exceedingly difficult to peel off the roll, rips easily and one ends up wasting a lot of material to get a piece that one can use. Might be a batch issue with the roll that I got as other customers have stated that they had similar issues with a recent roll, while previous rolls did not present the same issue. But that problem alone will prevent me from buying this product again. There are plenty of competing products available, so I will not take the chance again.Once peeled off, it is not overly sticky, but pressed down it stays on the wood and does what it is supposed to do when laser engraving on wood. For reasons above, I would not recommend this product.UPDATE (End Jan 2025):TapeManBlue reached out to me based on my review and sent me a new role of tape to try. This one works as advertized and especially comes off the roll easily, does not rip and is much easier to work with. My suspicion also echoed by some other reviewers was that it was a batch issue and not a general product problem. Now I am happy with the product and thus the revised review.

Last batch wasn’t the same
I order this at least once every two months. This last order doesn’t work as it did in the past. The adhesive pulls multiple pages which then has to be cut out, wasting tape and time. I’m 75% through this roll and have had to do this at least 5x thus far. I have another one coming tomorrow and I’m really hoping it is better.

Bought with trepidation, and very impressed despite those fears!
TLDR: Worked well, and no sticky residue.Disclaimer: I do not use this product for its stated purpose. I use it to mask plywood for laser cutting. I make some pretty intricate candle holders, and need something that sticks well so the edges don't curl while cutting, and that comes off fairly easily and leaves no residue.I tried painters tape, it sucked. Getting it unrolled to the length I needed was time consuming. It stuck really well, but left sticky residue on the intricately cut pieces. That also sucked. This type of product was recommended on the forums for my laser cutter, so I figured I would try it. I was a bit apprehensive at the reviews saying it kept tearing, but the expensive roll of painters tape wasn't working, and had cost more. I gave it a try.I had to unroll about 14" of tape, line up the roll with the plywood, stick down the far edge, then smooth it out working to the other end, then ensure that there were no bubbles. This was so much easier than the other tape. Trying to get that tape unrolled without it sticking to itself was a two man job. This transfer tape was easy to unroll to the needed length, and if it stuck to itself, I could easily pull it apart. I masked both sides of 15 pieces of plywood by myself. No help needed! It did tear a bit twice, but each time I was able to catch it quickly, and with a bit of effort could continue on. I noticed that there was a strip that seemed to be harder to unroll past, but a bit of one edge then the other edge pulling got past it easily. I figured that somewhere along the line it was stored laying flat instead of on end.I will definitely be buying more when this runs out! I just need to find a tape dispenser for it!

It’s okay
It’s just okay - not very sticky once placed on item- but it does get the job done for what I need. I have a laser engraving business and use this tape on items before I engrave/cut to help with burn lines. Thankfully, when done it is easy to pull back up since the tackiness of the tape is terrible.

Awesome transfer paper with an amazing price
Great product. Pulls off the roll with easy. Sticks well to vinyl decals and releases with no issues on wet or dry installs.
