On arrival, these pillows looked like dudes, i.e flat and wimpy. Following directions, I put them in the dryer for 15 minutes, high heat, no dryer balls, and they came out so poofy, and so very comfortable. This gives me great confidence knowing these pillows can be washed and dried for what I anticipate to be a long life. For the pillows, not me! I expect I will be dead before these pillows fail me!

When my residual whiplash injuries had been worsened by the onset of arthritis in my neck this year, I tried to take a holistic approach to managing these symptoms: ergonomics at work, neck exercises, and sleeping posture. I confess I was skeptical of claims of how the MyPillow could help with neck issues--I'm a firm believer in a healthy dose of skepticism. However, I have been very pleasantly surprised. I previously had a memory foam pillow, which was comfortable to lay on, but had a 'one-size-fits-all' loft level. The fill did not adjust to support the particular firmness, pillow elevation, and contours that my head/neck needed. The lack of head support and misaligned neck vertebrae throughout the night meant I'd wake up with pain and decreased range of motion. I researched pillows, and decided to give the MyPillow a try.I figured if I didn't like it, I'd just send it back. No harm, no foul. I'm pleased with how well this pillow has helped my neck pain issues. The multiple-piece foam-fill allows the pillow to 'cradle' and surround my head and neck: both head and neck are supported all around. I don't feel any strain my neck or head from only partial support like I previously had with my memory foam pillow. However, there are two VERY important factors to consider when buying this pillow. 1) it is not one-size-fits-all. If you select the wrong pillow fill/firmness, you will not like it: your head will be too elevated or not enough, and you will have neck discomfort. 2) if you don't follow the pre-use instructions to place the pillow in the dryer for 15 minutes, the foam will not expand to designed capacity, and the pillow won't have the right loft/support. I believe most of the negative criticisms of this pillow are based on wrong sizing and ignoring pre-use care instructions. I highly recommend the MyPillow--just be SURE to follow the sizing instructions (and subtract a level if you like your pillows softer) and put it in the dryer first.

Nice pillow, stays fluffy even not putting it in the dryer at all but one time. Just fluff it up by hand. Did not have any smell and it is pretty thick. You can feel the pieces in the pillow but can't feel them when you sleep.

The Medium loft My Pillow is the best money spent on getting a restful night's sleep. Neck and sholder pain is greatly reduced. The only pillow that helps. It is unique in the way its filled. Through it in the dryer 10 to 15 min. On high heat when you 1st. Get it so the foam will fluff. It comes vacuum sealed.

The MyPillow works really well and has improved my sleep. It’s supportive, comfy, and helps me wake up feeling rested. Definitely recommend!

I bought the bigger pillow from their website almost 20 years ago. I went to buy a smaller one to fit in the smaller pillow cases we now have and I bought the same firmness but when it came it's NOT the same firmness. It's not nearly as filled as my other one, even 20ish years later, so I was quite disappointed. Figured maybe it just needed broken in but that never gave it more fullness or firmness or anything. Was quite disappointed, gave it to my kid to use.

For all the hype, the My Pillow is just OK. Using it for over a month now. I ordered the Premium series since it has gusseted sides and I think that is a good feature. Who knows? Does it make it a more comfortable pillow? Not sure. Look, everyone is different. This pillow is not better or worse than the best pillows I have owned over the last 20 years. Its just different because of the fill they use.I ordered the medium firm style. It is on the soft side for me. I find I wake up and need to re-position it, or bunch it up, quite often during the night. It is well made and not an uncomfortable pillow, so I gave it 3 stars. I am glad that I found it on Amazon instead of falling for the gimmick on the manufacturers website to buy one and get one for free (if you use a secret code) The Amazon price was exactly half the bogo free price for 2. You will need to unpack it and throw it in the dryer before you use it to fluff it up. An email from the manufacturer after your purchase advises you to wash the pillow and then tumble dry it every few months. I have not tried that yet. But I don't see that as a problem. In summary, this pillow has good construction and it is made in the USA.However it should cost half the price since it did not deliver the "Best night's sleep of my life" as advertised. I would have gladly paid twice the price, and bought a second pillow, if it delivered as promised on the advertising sound bites.

The Mypillow is amazing. I bought one about 6 months ago and at first I was like what is so spectacular about this? Feels like I'm sleeping on a pillow case full of popcorn. I was used to sleeping on twin packs of down alternative pillows from Walmart my whole life. I was brainwashed by the negative feedback the Mypillow received on here and I think it got in my head. So I bought the Snugglepedic (Amazon's choice) which was flat and offered me no support for my neck and spinal stenosis. Then I bought the Coop home goods with the bamboo cover (Amazon's highest rated) and it was about 4 pounds, had a smell that never went away, and the Bamboo cover emitted so much heat that I would find myself waking up sweating and reaching for the old reliable Mypillow. Then I realized that popcorn in a pillow case feeling I once thought were uncomfortable was actually like a bunch of springs keeping my head from sinking in and keeping my head level with my shoulders (I'm a side sleeper) I then noticed the daily headaches were decrease to about one every two weeks...the Mypillow takes some getting used to, im not going to lie but once you do get used to it you will love it and always go back to it when trying another high quality pillow. I even bring it with me when I sleep in hotels! Once a month I wash it and it comes out of the dryer better than before. It really holds up fantastic. The only negative I can think of is it is extremely light- So if you are the type who flips and flops all night like a fish out of water you might once in a while knock it on the floor without realizing while tossing around. But other than that it's my favorite. And believe me I tried them all.
