Super Convenient and Long-Lasting!
I absolutely love these Avery No-Iron Fabric Labels! As a busy parent, these have been a lifesaver for labeling my kids’ clothes for school, camp, and daycare. The assorted shapes and sizes are perfect for everything from shirts to jackets to backpacks.Application is super easy—just peel and stick. No ironing required, which is a huge time-saver. I was a little skeptical about how well they would hold up in the wash, but I’ve been using them for months now and they’ve stayed on through countless washer and dryer cycles with no peeling or fading. They’re also great for adults—I’ve used them to label gym clothes and travel bags. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for durable, waterproof, no-fuss fabric labels. Worth every penny!

Label away!
These are the best labels to use when you need to label your kids clothes for camp! The labels are easy to write on and the fact that they have different shapes and sizes makes it great for labeling, water bottles, to underwear to shirts to jackets these labels stay on all items. Wash after wash the labels last. I highly recommend them!

Good Labels for Clothing
These are plain white, but a no-fuss, no-nonsense label if you need to get clothing labeled. It's great if you don't want to spend too much on labels for your children's clothing for school. All you need is a permanent marker like a Sharpie, write on the label, and stick it on the piece of clothing. You have to press firmly on the label to the clothing, and then you can wash it the next day. The labels don't come off easily, with multiple washes, but, easy enough to peel off when you need to. I recommend this if you just need a simple and affordable clothing label. It also works if you write on it and stick it to water bottles or lunch containers - but, the hot water and heat in the dishwasher may fade the Sharpie writing a tiny bit, but its easy to re-write on the label without having to remove it entirely. An entire pack lasts more than multiple school years!

Great for labeling clothes for daycare
I used these for labeling my baby's belongings for daycare so they wouldn't get lost. I used an ultra fine sharpie to write on them and haven't noticed any smudging whatsoever. They are easy to apply and I don't feel that they would rub wrong against my baby's skin when he's wearing clothes with these labels. The only drawback to this set is that it comes with several large sized labels which I won't be using anytime soon. I mainly used the small labels and I'm not entirely sure what I would use the larger labels for. I wish there were a package with only the smaller labels available.Pros:- Easily applied to clothing.- Permanent application. I tried peeling it off once I put it on his clothes and, while it may be possible, it does take some work.- Smudge-proof label. Even though the surface is slick, the marker didn't smudge when I ran my finger over it.- Several sized labels on one sheet. You can pick the size you want.- Smooth surface doesn't seem to aggravate skin when rubbed against it.Cons:- Large labels are probably not as useful as the small labels. I can only imagine the large labels are useful if you are adding more than a person's name, maybe adding in additional details like address, classroom information, etc.I really liked these labels and would probably buy them again once I run out of the small ones. I haven't found any other substitutes on the market that are comparable.

Labels Stay On and Don't Fade Very Much, Even After a Year
I bought these last year (the Martha Stewart version, also made by Avery) and just re-purchased them to label my son's bigger school uniforms. I really do think they work well, and 9 times out of 10 they last, wash after wash. I've had a few labels come off, but if you consider how many times I've machine-washed clothes with these labels over 10 months, as well as my younger son's "nap bag" items from his day care for the past 12 months, having three or four fall off is a very high success rate! The only downside is that they do leave residue on the rare occasion that the label comes off, but because I put a new label over where the old one is, it's not a big deal. On the oldest labels, the ink is a little faded, but nothing close to unreadable. I just use a regular black Sharpie (let the ink dry for a minute). I also don't put the labels on clothing and then wash. I wash first, then add the label so that they can sit for a while and adhere properly before being worn or washed.I actually like these labels as compared to the Martha Stewart ones I bought last year because they come in multiple shapes and sizes. Some might find that annoying, but I like the small oval ones for t-shirts because they fit nicely on the tag and don't need to stick to the shirt itself (an issue because the label shows through the back of the cheapie white gym uniform t-shirts they have to wear). Otherwise I don't have a preference for the size/shape of the labels. I thought the two huge rectangular ones on each sheet were a extraneous, but I figure some people might have a good use for those, and I just cut them into quarters and used them that way. On the next sheet, I'll probably cut them even smaller (probably into 9 rectangles) because 1/4 of one of those was even a little large for our labeling needs.Overall, these labels stay on 99% of the time and are still readable after many, many washes when used with a black Sharpie (regular, not laundry Sharpie). Compared to items on which I've written our last name with a laundry Sharpie, these labels last longer. On most clothing items, the laundry Sharpie does eventually fade to the point that it's not easily readable and needs to be traced over, so these labels are the perfect option, especially because I find writing on clothes with a laundry pen/marker to be a little difficult.
