I always bought things I HAD to have, like shoes to go to work, my children's school supplies, medicine etc. I am not one to have the beautiful decorations, beautiful artwork or pretty things. I am just happy to have a pair of shoes and dishes that don't match or fancy China. So, a plastic tablecloth or covering is not a NEED. But this time, i decided to get me something that adds pride to my home that I worked and am working hard to have. I put on a lace table cloth for my table. I did not want to ruin it, so I got the plastic covering. OH, MY GOODNESS it turned out real pretty. I never had a pretty table before. Now I do!!!

Perfect size.

I was looking for a thin, clear, plastic table cloth protector to cover my vintage crocheted lace tablecloth. The description online does state this item is heavy duty. I based my purchase, though, on the picture and on the reviews, of which a number of them described the item as thin...some stated "very thin". I would agree that it was thin, but was so shiny, stiff, plastic-looking and sorely wrinkled that It looked awful on my holiday table so I returned the item. I can't say that the item was poor in quality, perhaps better for every day use. In my opinion, the tablecloth in the picture looked like it softly draped the table. I gave it a 4-star rating because I just didn't choose the right one. Base on my experience I would have given it a 3.

Convenient and I really liked the finished edges. It needs to be opened and stretched to full size. There are folding creases but I found that stretching it out and then placing it over the table helped. I used some books to flatten out the creases. What I really like is it protects the lace tablecloth from my mother, from future spills, etc. Size is exactly as described and is also transparent, as described.

Great fit for our very large picnic table..it makes for great protection for our cream linen tablecloth
