Love these mintd

It's getting harder and harder to find mints that taste good that you can keep in your pocket loosely and not worry about it falling apart. These have a glossy coating to them, so I can always keep a few in my pants pocket and not have to carry the whole tin around with me (I'm a guy - no purse). They really freshen your breath and taste great - not too strong / medicinal. They also don't taste like they're sugar free. I hope they don't go away - they are getting hard to find in stores.

These mints are the best!. Aside from the flavor (which applies differently to everyone), what I really like about these mints are how they are packaged. They come in these small tins that are sealed very tightly. They are easy enough to open, but can take a banging in order to open accidentally. The mints themselves are self-explanatory. They are like any other peppermint mints and since taste is different between people, I won't factor that into the review.

I love these mints and have been ordering them off of Amazon for well over a year. I keep a tin with me in my purse, backpack, wherever. I take them everywhere. Lots of advantages to these mints. Great flavor, freshen breath well, sugarfree. However, I have one major problem with these, and that is that the vast majority of these tins end up opening up on their own at some point and spilling mints all over the bottom of my bag. It's a major annoyance because I have to clean out my bag, but also because I end up losing most of my precious mints. I'm trying to figure out a better solution, to find some kind of container that I can transfer them into that won't open in my bag.

When these mints were first available, they were everywhere; and a bit on the expensive side. The peppermint flavor was especially strong and is my favorite. Now,I can't find them anywhere. Most don't even carry the brand but have plenty of Eclipse gum. Amazon had these mints in larger size boxes at an affordable price. I'm happy to have especially fresh breath again thanks to Eclipse Mints and Amazon.

Like the other reviews, stores in my area stopped selling them and I was beginning to panic until I found them on Amazon! Thank you so much Amazon!! I bought 2 cases right away and will continue to purchase them. Hopefully Eclipse will never discontinue the peppermint flavor. Wintergreen just doesn't do it for me and I can't chew gum because of TMJ. The peppermint is the strongest mint around and the only one that works for me. Believe me, I've tried them all! You won't regret purchasing these!

Streptococcus mutans, a bacterium that causes tooth decay, ferments sorbitol promoting tooth decay unlike Xylitol or Erythritol or several other sugar alcohols. See Wikipedia for one reference study concerning this. Too bad since I do like the taste and texture.

Good Gum. Fantastic price. I do wish the flavor lasted longer though. I like the blister packaging and how it separates into small sleeves. This makes keeping some handy easier than most because it isn't so bulky in your purse or pocket. Nice to have on hand when you really need to get the taste of something-- like garlic-- out of your mouth when you cannot conveniently brush your teeth.
