Great book! Good illustrations. My 8 yr old reads it with his dad and it satisfies his curiosity with chemicals and bonds. Makes chemistry easy to understand.

My 10-year-old son loves this series of books. He has the Chemistry and Biology books and is asking for the Physics and Math books for Christmas. He is learning concepts that his sister (a freshman) is learning in her high school chemistry and biology classes. In fact, he helped her with her homework, explaining ions and atomic structure. We stayed up at bedtime learning what a Lewis Structure was because he was so interested. These books are fantastic. I hope Smithsonian also puts out a Super Simple Earth Science book!

This book is helpful as an add on to a basic chemistry textbook It is very colorful and the pages and cover are of really good quality. But if you're looking for a homeschool chemistry textbook, this is probably not it. We found "Friendly Chemistry" as a better choice.

My 11 year old never took chemistry but is interesting. We read this together every night and only skipped a few later topics. He will have this book as a second souyof explanations when he's actually taking chemistry in school in middle school too.

Being a chemist I'm very impressed with the presentation of topics. You won't become a chemist with this book but you'll get a grasp of basic chemistry with this book. Well done.

This book has expired science concept in a easy to understand way. Pictorial explanation also included I have purchased it for my Son studying in 7th Std

I bought 3 books from this series and they all have the same issue with the glue. Not happy with the quality. The book is falling apart.

Useful book with index bought for my grandson, to help with homework and preparation for Nat 5 exams. The workbook prepared by school is A5 size with tiny print so difficult to work with. Schools need better budgets to provide textbooks like this for kids to use at home.
