Price point is worth it.
Will start off by saying that I’m new to simplehuman products. I’ve their paper towel holder with spray bottle combo and love it but that’s for another review for another time. With that as I was looking for other products from them I came across this. I’ve seen similar products with virtually the same look. Some of the others are at a cheaper price. I did stop to think about it for a few moments as the selling price for this was $79.99. After a few moments of thinking about how much I really liked the paper towel holder, I decided to just buy it as I really liked the design and hoped that the quality is worth the price.Once I received it the look and feel does not seem cheap at all. Very sturdy. It was so simple to set up. I went with just using the adhesive. I cleaned the area that I was going to stick it to and once I did that let it set overnight. Then I put the rest of it together and that only took a few moments. The size is pretty good not to much or to little. It holds the 15oz of soap, shampoo and conditioner easily. Super easy to fill. The pump function is pretty generous and I feel that I don’t go through my products as fast as I used to. So in a way it has helped me safe some money as well so far.I would recommend this to anyone looking to save space in their shower or just like the look.

Fantastic shower dispenser
I bought this to replace another product: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FGCW0KThe above product was compact but there were trade-offs with the annoying refill process, which was a pain if one of the dispensed products ran out before the others, and the fact it's entirely plastic. The plastic build was its downfall, as the main container began to crack, and then the threaded part for the pump snapped off when trying to clean out the old product. The simplehuman triple wall mount shower pump feels far more substantial and quality. I also appreciate the fact that I could individually remove and refill a pump with product. Refilling a pump is very straightforward and so is cleaning them out. Each squeeze of the pump dispenses a very usable amount of product and you can modulate it to lessen the amount. I also like the ability to hang my shaving razor on the side of a pump. The length of the warranty (5 years) and the ability to get replacement parts on the simplehuman website is also a big plus.I do see other people complaining about the mount's adhesive failing and I've not encountered that, even on a tiled wall, as I made sure to clean the surface and waited at least 24 hours for the VHB adhesive to cure to 90% strength. I do recommend reviewing the VHB curing chart, as it is temperature dependent. The adhesive IS very strong (3M VHB) and it is removable, but not reusable, as I did end up buying a 2nd wall mount after changing my mind on the initial mounting location (respect its depth if you have a smaller shower stall like me). You can use some Goo Gone or WD40 to weaken the adhesive, then separate it by inserting something like a grout spatula into it and working it off the wall (I used a plastic grout spatula with a hammer); I think some people have done something similar with fishing line. Afterward, you should be able to clean up the remaining adhesive with a razor scraper.

Flawed design caused it to fall off, shatter and scar me
I bought one 1.5 years ago. It fell off the wall last night and broke, while I was in the shower, washing off the shampoo off my hair. My eyes were closed and a broken piece of the bottle hit my shin and scared me pretty badly. The pumps are very good but the design for attaching it to the wall has a problem that I noticed when installing it but realized after it shattered on the shower floor. The plate holds the bottles from the bottom, the bottles gradually tilt forward, pull the plate (which only holds the bottom of the bottle) away from the wall. Because the top of the bottles are not attached to wall, the force that is pulling the bottles away from the wall at the top, is handled all at the bottom of the bottle. So, it pulls the bottom part away from the wall with much more force because the top is farther from where the bottle is attached to the place. Those of you who studied physics know that force is weight multiplied by distance, and the distance from the top of the bottle to the bottom (where the bottle is attached to the plate) causes much more pulling force at the bottom. The fix is to have the plate at the top or have two plates, one at the bottom and one at the top. Also, the humidity in the shower gradually wears out the glue, so it probably won't fall off and get shattered but it will at some point, if you're out of luck. I would have given it more than one start because the pumps are good, if the price was not $80.

This is worth the price
Listen, I like SimpleHuman the way I like Oxo. You can buy similar items for less, but what about the quality? How long do you want it to last? How much pleasure will be derived from using a quality product over something lesser?I read enough reviews to know what made this dispenser stand out from the competition, and made a mental note of the occasional reviewer nit (mainly that the individual dispensers jiggle a little). The upshot is, this dispenser is built like a tank and uses high-quality materials and incorporates excellent design. I love the looks and functionality. Upon opening the box, I knew I had made the right choice. Now here's the funny thing: SH touts the 3M adhesive and ease of installation, yet in the instructions the user is warned that screwing the dispenser into the wall is highly recommended. And considering the weight of the dispenser itself, plus 40 or so ounces of product I think a buyer would sooner or later regret not using screws and anchors. The really ironic thing is that screws are not included (perhaps for liability?) All of this means extra effort and with tile or a similar surface, a special drill bit and anchors and a healthy bit of persistence. But I'm telling you, it's worth it. My dispenser is rock-solid and all things considered should last for many, many years. As for the individual dispensers jiggling, that's something slightly noticeable when they are empty, but not when they are full.
