Little library
Easy to put together. One determined person could manage, but its easier with two. The most difficult part was making sure all the parts aligned to screw the base together, but it took less than 20 minutes for full assembly including adding the sand. Neighborhood kids are enjoying it. No leaks during our wind and thunderstorms.

Great library!
I love this! It’s set up at the end of my driveway and I love to see our neighbors it’s use it! Very sturdy and waterproof. Such a fun addition!

Very well made and sturdy, mine arrived 2 days early!!!
Item arrived 2 days early, and it is amazing! I took my time assembling it and it took less than an hour. Having an electric/battery drill helps greatly! The pieces fit perfectly, I can’t wait for the snow to be gone here in Cincinnati so I can get sand to fill the bottom and post and put it outside. The magnets (there are two) on the door are very strong! If anything they make the door a bit hard to open. But, I much prefer the door being hard to open than having it open so easily it gets blown open. Also, notice how the inside of the box is somewhat elevated, the door closes below the ledge. And the back of the box is slightly angled so any rain/snow/wind is pushed over the edge of the base of the box. I doubt I will ever have to worry about any moisture inside the is box. After reading reviews of wood doors on little library boxes not closing properly depending on the humidity and temps, I decided to spend the extra money for this one and super glad I did! We shall see how it lasts in the weather 365 days a year, but I’m going to guess it will handle the weather with ease.

small
Would like larger unit to accommodate larger books and magazines, Better if filler holes for base conponents were on top rather than side so water can be used for temporary deployment

Well made!
I’ve wanted one of these for a long time and I’m so glad I chose this one. Very easy to fill with sand using the included funnel. I filled the base pieces with sand BEFORE putting it together, which is not how the instructions show, but it worked very well—I just had to build it on its side. Then it was very easy to fill the pole and put it upright to add the screws to the top of the base.Highly recommend this library.

This one is going to be a Free Little Art Gallery!
I'm so excited to have this little sharing library! Several years ago we set up a Free Little Art Gallery... built it with wood. It was great fun for the neighborhood but finally the wood fell apart. Now.... with this great Simplay3 we will have a little gallery that will last! It is strong and well built! And... if the printed directions aren't enough there are several how-to assemble videos on YouTube.

Good size, good height
I was afraid it would not be as tall as the pictures indicate, but it is. I was also concerned because people said it was difficult to put together - I may have been surprised by how much work it was if I hadn't read that, but I was prepared and found it easier than expected. It took me (a far-from-strong female) about 20 minutes to put it all together minus the sand. If I'd grabbed the drill for the screws, it would have taken even less time. I found the instructions easy to follow; I've put together a lot of office furniture and it was less complicated. I'm very happy and I can't wait to put it in use this weekend!

Sturdy
This is a great little library. It is waterproof and nice. Downside is that the way it was made the base didn't have the smooth part in front and you cannot put bigger children's books in this and have the door close. Overall, we really like it and it is a neighborhood favorite.
