VTEC Solenoid Spool Valve with Gasket Compatible with 2005-2007 Honda Pilot Accord Odyssey 3.0 3.5 4.8L Replace Part Number 15810-RKB-J01

My 2006 Odyssey was having the intermittent VSA light / check engine light with the P2646 code, that is usually caused by this valve. This error usually pops up when the engine tries to activate the VCM (eco light) after the engine is hot. Re-gasketing the valve didn’t solve the issue so I decided to replace it. The new valve solved the problem and the code didn’t come up again. I have tested the car for a couple hours since the replacement, including 1h of highway miles, driving in a way that the engine was activating the VCM very often and everything was fine. I’ll post an update after I put more miles on this part.

Defective out of the box, ecm did not recognize it. Check engine light came on. I install a use oem honda part problem solved. I recommend do not buy.

Absolute trash. Worked for about 15 minutes. I tried two of these from different sellers under different "brand names". Exactly the same part. One was DOA and one lasted 15 minutes. Do yourself a favor and just hit up a "Pic n' Pull" junkyard. I found two Honda spool valves for $6 each. Van has run flawlessly since.
