Viper Spinning Bee Soft Tip Darts with Casemaster Storage/Travel Case, 16 Grams

Kind of a novelty dart. It's possible to shot a descent game with these, but neither myself, nor anyone else who's tried them prefers them to a more normal style dart. I can say these fly better than the other version with the super short non spinning shaft.

I have always been a big fan of viper so when I was looking around for a new set, I was excited to see these online. Normally I get their tungsten darts, but I wanted to make sure I felt out the weight and the length before I spent that much money again. I picked this style bc I had friends who let me borrow their bees and though hey if I'm having an off/bad night sometimes changing up the dart can help. I picked the blue darts because I love how bright the blue was and thought it'd be much easier to find in our dark tavern than my red or black ones. Well, I got them today just a little bit ago and they are NAVY! In the right light, they do look sapphire but it's not obvious esp against the gold on them. The flights on them were also different than what was pictured which I didn't really care for but that's an easy change. I'm just disappointed they weren't in the color I had ordered otherwise I would have picked red or purple or green instead because they are so dark they do look black initially.

over the course of a year (ever since I bought my dart board), I have tried a variety of darts and these are by far our favorites. I even tried the Viper atomic and added my own shafts/spinners, but the problem with that is it made it just a wee bit longer and I really like the length of these and think it is weighted just right for the best throw. We did not have problems w/ the spinners staying in. To solve the problem of bounce outs & bending, we put a large cardboard piece on the floor underneath the board (saves the tips, flights & spinners). The spinner helps keep the flight in good working order longer. The only (minor) complaint I would have is that the tips don't thread in straight/easily. I use the short tips (Viper 2BA Black Tufflex Tips S.S. Super Short Soft Tip Dart Points) as I found longer tips break off in the board more and thereby often rendering that hole in the board useless. I originally thought I would have guests use the other darts I didn't like as much, but I liked these so much, I decided to order more & give the guests the best!

These darts are great !!! I got these as a backup for my other ones

After 2-3 throws, tips often bend and so you have to be sure to straighten them out after each throw. Other than that, I like them, but if you forget to straighten the tip, the dart will bounce out (embarrassing).
