Great mouse for those who spend our lives behind IDF equipment racks.
I needed a compact mouse that I can use in settings where there is no flat surface. When my laptop is propped up on a cable lacing bracket and I'm trying to troubleshoot an equipment issue, running a regular mouse on my pant leg gets old fast! This trackball mouse is just the ticket! Compact enough to fit easily in an already overcrowded tool bag, and easy to use without needing space to push the physical mouse around. It is much too small for use at a regular desk and my hand would cramp up very rapidly if I tried to do so, but that's not what I needed and it fits my use case perfectly!

Very small and light. Good trackball for travel.
I've taken to using a trackball a few months ago. Unfortunately, most, if not all of them, are very big. Too big for me, but it still works. I just wish I could find a smaller one (I've always used a small mouse, my last one was the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S).But that also means traveling with my current mouse (Logitech MX Ergo) is out of the question - it's big and heavy. Enter this little mouse.I just came back from a 2-months trip oversees where I used it exclusively, on a Windows 11 laptop, so I feel like I can review it now.+ Size! It's very small and very light. Easy to pack in any bag.+ Size! Again! I love that I was able to use it easily in the plane (in Economy) by just putting it on my lap.+ Connecting it to my laptop was easy.+ It works. Never had a problem.- The main issue is the trackball. It's not tight so it always move around a little. Maybe just a millimeter in every direction, but that's enough to impact accuracy and comfort, and to make the whole thing feel flimsy. This is my main issue.- The software. It may be good, or it may not. I don't know. It's in Japanese. I was able to customize the important stuff like pointer speed and a couple buttons, but I didn't dare go farther than that.Overall I really like this mouse and I'm keeping it, but I'll use it exclusively when travelling. Honestly, were it a little less flimsy, were the ball better set, and the software not in Japanese, I would have considered using it as my daily driver.

Amazing concept and size, cheap implementation
**************** Edited ***************The size is ideal, smallest track ball mouse I have ever had. However, it feels rather light and cheap and the number one pet peeve is that the roller ball is cheap and doesn’t work well at all. It’s is really really bad compared to other mouse with trackballs I have in comparison. You cannot program the buttons to your custom preference.************* Updated ***************I am bumping my review up to five stars because of the prompt and professional customer service they displayed with my complaints. Firstly, I was incorrect about not being able to program the buttons how you see fit. They reached out and provided me with the correct links. Secondly, they sent out a replacement mouse because I was having issues with the trackball. That shows me that they have integrity and really do want to provide a product to be proud of. This roller ball seems much smoother than my initial one and being given those links is everything for me. So I appreciate it and I am five out of five content with my order.

Great for travel and portability
I kind of wanted to give this a 5, but just couldn't quite. Here are the negatives which prevent my giving it that score: 1) must remove the battery cover to take out the dongle - I have seen much better designs, 2) I feel like it will probably break easily if dropped (not tested yet!), 3) Despite adjusting the settings, it cannot cannot control my cursor as well as my old Logitech TrackMan Wheel (I didn't expect it to, but...), 4) My hand gets tired using it, which never happens with the TrackMan (may not be an issue for someone with smaller hands). By the way, my TrackMan is very old and has survived many, many drops. I have even taken it apart and fixed it after one of these drops. The good: 1) Lots of nice, well placed buttons that worked from the start doing what I wanted them to do, 2) does its job in a nice looking very small package, very portable, 3) quick and easy connection - no issues - ever, 4) comes with a very nice case that fits like a glove and is more that adequate to protect it for travel in my computer backpack. Overall - I wanted a tiny, portable, wireless trackball mouse, and I found a high quality one.

Choppy Roller Ball
The small size of this mouse is good for me. However the roller-ball movement is too choppy, making fine control over the pointer impossible. If you want to interact with something on the screen that requires you to click in a very small area, this mouse will make it hard to do so. The pointer gets very near what I want to click on and then stops moving, and I have to force the ball really hard to get the pointer moving again, at which point the pointer blows past the thing I wanted to click on. I've had mice that start exhibiting this behavior after a year or two of use, but I've never seen it with a brand new mouse. I used the mouse for only a few hours last night, and my wrist and hand were exhausted and painful from "fighting with" the mouse the whole time. Very disappointed, returning for a refund. Back to ordering the Nakabayashi Digio2 Trackball - it's more expensive and only lasts a year or two, but at least it works at first!

Rollerball constantly comes off the roller
I bought this to use on tray tables while travelling in airliners where a mouse just doesn't work. I bought it for it's compact size, but the ball does not work well with the rollers. It constantly feels like the ball wants to come out of it's slot and it is very jerky. Even when putting pressure on the ball and rolling it in a circle you can feel the ball clicking in certain spots against the roller. As soon as you roll left it will come off the roller. Since I did not travel a lot after I bought this, I missed the return window. I see other reviews reporting the same issue, so I feel this is a design issue more than my particular unit. As you can see from my history I don't tend to post reviews, but this is truly an annoying product to use.
