So easy to use and works fantastic

I bought an old Jugs dual-wheel pitching machine and it had some rust since it was old. I basically sprayed this on the wheels and other areas and left over night. In 24 hours, all rust was gone and the areas with rust had turned to matte black. It requires no sanding, no scraping and really very minimal cleaning before use. I’ve since used it on my rusty metal screen door and a few other places. It’s a solid addition to your tool chest; buy it!

Love this stuff! Stops the rust and makes great base for painting! Make sure you sand wire brush first do Black Star can penetrate for best results!

This is a great product, I wish I'd known about this a long time ago. You spray it on the rust, let it do its thing and voila!, the rust turns black, and you can then spray on your color paint. Paint sticks well to this coating, it cures/drys in a 1-2 hours. It is an acid-based product, so make sure you are wearing breathing protection. I learned this the hard way. The only prep I did was to beat off the loose rust with a ball-peen hammer, then a light brushing with a wire brush to get the loose flakes off. Totally worth the price, great product.

I’ve used the product twice and it appears to do as advertised . Don’t care much about the older style spray can that is more apt to clog .

Love it, this stuff really works well, turns rust black. Very nice product!!

I cannot say enough about this product. Used it on my vehicle rust spots which alleviated the nasty brown rust look. Made the vehicle not look like a rust bucket until proper repairs could be done.
