Folding Mushroom Knife with Neoprene Pouch Solid Wood Handle and Foldable Cleaning Brush

Looks and feels substantial in your hand. It came relatively sharp - not the sharpest, but sharp enough to slice through thin paper with a crisp edge and certainly mushrooms! The folding brush was the selling point for me, and keeps the bristles (which are a good balance of softness/stiffness) safe when not in use.This is a slip joint knife, which means that it doesn't technically lock into position, but the spring is strong enough that this knife feels very secure when open and stays firmly shut at the bottom of your bag or in your pocket (as it should!). The brush also "clicks" into place - it has a small metal bead hidden in the frame that catches on two depressions inside the frame, one when open and another when closed.Last but not least, this is the most attractive mushroom knife I've seen - sleeker lines than Opinel or Rough Rider, and the wood grain is exactly as pictured - radiates outward from the center. My only complaint is that there is no lanyard hole and it would be difficult to add one since both ends have metal caps AND moving parts that would interfere. I had hoped to add it to my gear tether for easy access.

I LOVE this knife 🔪 if you are a forager and want a good lil knife to have with you on your journeys I really recommend this! Much more heavy duty feeling than I was expecting. Great for the price in my opinion! The brush is a nice feature and helps eliminate the extra dirt before putting mushrooms in a bag.

1 Thing I dislike is it's NON LOCKING BLADE other then that GREAT KNIFE, VERY ROBUST & NICE WOOD.

I go foraging for mushrooms once a month with my club. This knife was the star of the show at our last outing. The brush folds into the handle so the bristles don't break off or hinder taking it in or out of the pouch. The design is stunning and I expect it to last a long time. Oh, and it cuts and cleans mushrooms very well.

I forage for mushrooms a lot. This knife is sharp, easy to carry around, and sturdy. I have not tried sharpening it yet but it doesn't look like it would be too much trouble.

This was a well made knife, but too large for comfort. Perhaps in a mans hand it would be perfect. It was wonderful quality but just a bit heavy for my pocket and large for my hand. Sent back.

I bought this knife to forage mushrooms and ramps. I chose this knife, specifically, because the brush folds in as well as the blade. The blade seems sturdy and the handle feels nice in my hand.
