Good purchase. I've used these to make wine and they've worked perfectly. Easy to wash and came with many for the price. The smell of alcohol hasn't come out but personally, I don't care because it works for me.

These fit together well and are a high enough grade of stainless steel that they have not rusted when fermenting peppers (acid and salt). They also seem to seal well on the jar and around the fermentation lock.

Lids are great for people just starting to make fermented foods. They are easy to use and clean.

These fermentation lids are mostly fine but they don't properly fit on the 64oz Ball jars for some reason. It's like they twist and twist and twist and never secure - so weird. They're still usable on the larger wide mouth jars but they just don't 100% secure when you tighten them. Fits fine on the 32oz, 24oz, and 16oz wide mouth jars. And of course they are not water tight so if you tilt them or overfill them they'll leak from the sides. Plastic sucks but they don't rust out like metal lids when you're fermenting with vinegar or salted brine.

Works great

Bought these for my kombucha (afraid of the bottles popping) and to hopefully pickle any of the vegetables I may harvest in this upcoming garden. Clean, rea-usable, easy to store, and exactly fits on wide-mouth jars. Love the mis-matched colors, so long as it does not match my family's mason jars!
