Vicious Viper Hot Sauce, 5 Ounce

Hot, but not pain Olympics hot. If you accidently put more than a few drops you'll know. Great for ramen and subs. Once you build up a tolerance to the heat the flavor is excellent.

It's my all-time favorite hot sauce, delicious and packs a punch. I've compared it the mega death sauce, and others Viper is lower on the heat chart than Mega death, but for some reason it feels hotter to me. I only need two or three drops in an omelette and it's plenty hot! Unlike some other hot sauces I actually love the taste, it's not just hot. Just don't get any on your lips you will be sorry!

Tried this sauce at a local subs & sandwiches joint and was impressed... so bought some of my own. It's a decent heat (not Dave's Insanity Sauce levels of pain but wakes you up!) and a good flavor. Good addition to the growing collection.

Like other reviewers said this isn't just a hot sauce for the sake of being insanely hot but actually there is a good flavor to it. The reason why I give 4 stars is I was looking for something really hot and honestly the vicious viper hot sauce doesn't live up to the "2 million scoville" rating. Blair's ultra death is definitely hotter than this at <1 million scovilles. For any true chili head this won't really do the trick without a generous dosage.

One of the most amazing sauces I have ever tried! It has a crazy level of heat, and just the best flavor ever! I have tried so many sauces I couldn't even give you a close estimate, but what I do know is that Vicious Viper is my fave!

Had a hot wings challenge with this sauce being on the last wing, which I didn't bother to sample the "2 million scoville" sauce prior. Huge mistake, as the bottle was not spicy at all. The Frank's hot sauce we had as the opener had more spice than this. What a huge disappointment. Can't recommend this at all.

Picked this up in Old Town Springs before buying again here on Amazon. My tolerance for hot food is pretty high. What I like about this produced is not only is is HOT, but it's extremely flavorful. Addictively flavorful. I use a few drops of it on my fried catfish and also add Tabasco sauce over the whole fish

Die Sause ist wirklich äußerst scharf, hat trotzdem einen sehr guten Geschmack.

Was ich an dieser Sauce wirklich schätze ist der recht neutrale Geschmack. Um einfach mal die verschiedenen Tabasco-Varianten als Vergleich heranzuziehen: die schmecken alle viel saurer und mockig, sind viel weniger scharf, sodass man deutlich mehr reingießen muss, um auf ein vergleichbares Ergebnis zu kommen. Viele Saucen arbeiten auch mit Raucharomen oder was auch immer, die Vicious Viper ist im Grundton eher fruchtig, was mit allem, was tomatig ist, sehr gut harmoniert. Ich hatte diese Sauce aber deutlich schärfer und flüssiger in Erinnerung, es war mal von 250.000 Scoville die Rede, eine solche Angabe finde ich nicht mehr. Die Mus-artige Konsistenz führt auch dazu, dass sie nicht homogen scharf ist und schlechter aus der Flasche kommt.

Wahnsinn, mit 2cl von dieser Sauce reichen für 3l Gulasch um ungenießbar zu machen. Nur für hart gesonnene!!!

Diese Soße ist eine Legende und ich liebe sie. Für den Durchschnittsbürger schon sehr scharf aber für extreme Chili Esser wohl eher ein angenehmer Snack. Sie ist meiner Meinung nach nicht so essiglastig oder mit säuerlich künstlichen Aromen gespickt, wie andere Soßen ihrer Art. Für Einsteiger trotzdem: sehr vorsichtig dosieren!

Wer keine Schärfe gewohnt ist, dem könnte die Sauce scharf vorkommen. Ja, sie ist auch scharf aber garantiert nicht so scharf, wie sie beworben wird. Verglichen mit anderen Saucen und dem Schärfegrad einschlägiger Verdächtiger wie Bhut Jolokia oder Carolina Reaper würde ich den Schärfegrad dieser Sauce vielleicht auf zwischen 40.000 und 80.000 Scoville schätzen. Aber definitiv weniger als 100.000. Geschmacklich geht sie, essigsauer, mit einem Hauch Zitrone und Senf. Für mich war die Sauce eher enttäuschend, man braucht relativ viel um an den typischen "Schärfe-Endorphinrausch" zu kommen.
