Great Ball Launcher!
Our dogs love this ball launcher! I can throw the ball long distances without any arm strain. The balls wear out, and as described by others, tennis balls don’t fit. Buy extra balls if this is of concern. We bought a few of the “Chuck It” rubber 3” balls and they have worked well for our dogs. It’s a great value and fun for the dogs.

Works great!
This is actually the second ball launcher I have purchased. On a day when my brain was out-to-lunch, I purchased a 2.5in Chuck-It ball set; it was way too small, so it was gifted to my niece dog. Even though the 3.5in ball version is recommended for dogs over 100lbs, my 70+ pound Doberman needed this larger size. This ball launcher takes a bit of getting. used to, but it is really helpful for those of us who are not MLB pitchers! The launcher itself is a sturdy plastic that is not brittle yet not soft; when the ball is launched there is no destructive bending in the shaft. The handle is padded and ergonomically sound while the cup end cradles the ball but has cut-outs on each side for easy loading and unloading of the ball. It did take a bit of practice for me to get the hang of it, but for my husband and son it was much easier. The launcher works well to help us older, non-gifted athletes launch the ball farther and faster while saving the shoulder, elbow, and wrist (important if there is any arthritis). The ball fits nicely into the cup and releases easily. I have chosen to use a 3.0inch ball for the simple reason it is easier on my hands. The problem we have is for some reason our dog will simply not relinquish the Chuck-It ball! He even tries to get the extra ball in his mouth, now remember these are 3.5in balls! (We have found if we have a second ball loaded and ready to throw, he more willingly puts down the ball he has just retrieved...not the case with the Chuck-It ball). No matter who throws, how hard we try, how long we try-he refuses to release the ball. To solve the problem we just do not use the Chuck-It ball.I have just discovered another great use for the launcher. While recovering from cataract surgery, I was not allowed to bend over at the waist. I can squat easily, but at some point the body automatically begins to bend at the waist. That restriction limited playtime with my 4 legged friend. Enter the Chuck-It ball launcher! Once he drops the ball (the substitute 3.0in ball), using my foot I can scoop the ball up into the cup of the launcher and voila', "Play Ball"! All in all (my dog's uncooperative stance not withstanding), this has been a great dog toy.Top 3 Likes:-Easy to use-Relieves strain on wrists, elbow, and shoulder-Helps drive the ball farther and fasterTop 3 Dislikes:-Not a problem with the product, but for us the ball is unusable and superfluous at this time-There is a mild worry that with time the launcher may snap-Only two dislikes!

Great launcher!
My dog loves the texture of this ball. It bounces like a heavier tennis ball. Perfect for bigger dogs. Has a soft outer so you can play a little in the house. Bright orange to see in the evening for fetch. Hard for her to chew up unlike tennis balls. The chuck it thrower itself is amazing as I can’t throw well and this lets me launch it over an acre with ease!

Labs love this!!!
Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand.My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!!He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again!Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

Thrower is great, with a caveat. Saves shoulders, throws far
The thrower is awesome, but the balls are worthless for big dogs. Our GSD ruined the ball the first day. We ended up buying her one of the rubber balls from the same company and it fits the thrower perfectly and this thing launches them! It’s really saved my shoulder as it’s effortless. Also, wears our high energy dog out after about 10 throws. Worth it from that alone.

Love this Ball Tosser for the Dog
Love this ball launcher. It is our dogs favorite toy. Very happy with the purchase and despite her grabbing the end of it where the ball goes, it holds up well.

German Shepherd - and Dog Park Friends - APPROVED
When I take our German Shepherd to the dog park, I can’t throw a ball far enough to make a sport of it. We saw someone else using this neat gadget and quickly ordered one. It works really well and entertains our big Shepherd as well as his doggie friends at the park. Some reviewers had noted that the ball doesn’t hold up so we tried a rubber ball that we already had. (same 3” size). Perfect!!! I highly recommend using these balls because they have held up for more than 3 years of Shepherd play/chewing: https://a.co/d/6v3zw7N

Big but works!
Definitely didn’t realize how large this is. And it’s kinda difficult to find the right sizes balls, but overall it’s your typical chuck it! Dog loves it so I can’t complain!
