This is the mirror I use daily for makeup. I have purchased it 3 times in total.POSITIVESThe lighting is pretty strong, but in a good way. I want to be able to see any mistakes with blending, etc. and the lighting definitely assists with that. It's really good when tweezing or needing to see individual pores, that kind of thing as well. There is also a slider which allows you to change the color of the lighting, so that can be helpful as well. The ability to switch between the regular and magnified mirrors just by rotating is also very handy and the side mirrors are a nice bonus.NEGATIVESFirst, the mirror is made of light weight plastic. As a result, it is not all that durable. I have had the plastic part in the back of the mirror (back step?) that rotates down break for 2 out of the 3 mirrors purchased. I was able to use duct tape and reconnect the back step, but it was still a big hassle.Second, the style of the mirror is pretty dated looking. It is made out of white plastic, which gets dirty quickly when around makeup and is a pain to clean because of all the nooks and crannies. Also, the font/other design elements look a bit cheesy, but that is just a nit picky observation.OVERALLI have purchased makeup mirrors that were much more stylish looking (oval, silver mirrors), but none of them have come anywhere close to the utility of this mirror. Overall, I definitely recommend this mirror in terms of utility, but it would be great it eventually the style/design of the mirror could be updated to address the flimsiness of the back step and just to make general design improvements.

This is the best makeup mirror! Love the lighting choices and the magnifying mirror is perfect! I also love the shape of this mirror because the round ones always seemed small to me. I highly recommend this makeup mirror!

Just as advertised. I've been using prior versions of this mirror for decades now. The older models were much sturdier. This is good but i wish it were sturdier. Working well right now, but not sure it will last as long as my other ones. Also lights are not as bright as I would like. All in all, will keep, mostly because i like the style.

It’s a great make-up mirror! The lights adjust in brightness, according to your needs (day, office, evening, home). It’s easy to see different angles with one large and two small mirrors, one on each side. The reverse side of the large mirror has 5x magnification. There is a 120 volt outlet on the front of the Jerdon make-up mirror.

Love this mirror. My eyes are getting bad and this one flips around so the entire mirror is a magnifying mirror. The lights are bright enough that I don't need additional lighting. I also like the size of the mirror, I don't feel like I'm struggling to get into a position to see what I need to. I've struggled for a long time to get my eye makeup looking like I want it to because I obviously can't do them with my reading glasses on and I couldn't find a light up mirror that was big enough or bright enough to see like I needed to. But this mirror totally fixes that. I like that this is a traditional plug in mirror instead of the rechargable plug. I've had problems in the past with thos failing on me. I saw another review that mentioned that the cord is too short. I didn't have an issue with this. It's what I would expect for a product like this. But if you really needed some extra length you could just plug into a small extension cord. All in all I'm really pleased with this product and happy I gave it a try.

The mirror is great but the lighting is terrible. The only setting that is usable is the office. The rest are so dark you would look like a clown. I like the style and size

I had been having my Conair for years. It was worn out but I couldn’t find anything similar until now. I love this lighted mirror. The magnifying side and light adjustments are a plus.
