I use these as socks. They are very warm, comfortable, and they fit well.

Thin enough to wear under dressy she's, warm enough for airplanes..... not really a crew sock, almost a knee sock, but better longer than shorter.... hope I can afford a couple more pairs...

I have issues with the nerves in my feet so I need socks that are thinner and softer than average. I am glad I found these as they are nice and soft and not too thin or thick, yet quite warm when worn with boots. They go up to the knee almost but I usually just fold them over the top of the boot and avoid any elastic band marks that way (although the elastic in these is quite gentle too). Given that I had not been able to wear any other socks other than thin nylon ones, these are heaven sent. They pile badly, however (after just wearing them once!).

These are liner socks. Everybody repeat after me .. liner socks. The are made to be a base layer under a thick wool sock to wick sweat away. They are not made to just wear with shoes. Great liner socks, not real excited about the calf length, but meh .. it's ok. They do, however, appear to run kinda big ... OK, real big. I am normally a large in men's and a medium would have been better. Still, great socks for what they are designed to to do.

I have used silk liner socks when hiking, for many years. When sweaty, they stick to your feet and take the friction that would otherwise cause blisters. I got these for my wife, and she likes them as well.

So I'm a pretty solid size 9 in mens. I ordered the over the calf on their other listing in medium 7-9 in natural since I'd rather have snug than loose. I received a small 3-5.5. The size charts aren't even close to matching. The size chart on the packacing didn't look anything like the size chart on this page. I didn't open them I just sent them back. I ordered the supposedly shorter mid calf sock they offer on this page and the size chart on this package is completely different than either of the others. If the mid calf are shorter, I'm glad I didn't get over the calf since the mid calf are knee high and I'm dead on average height. The size says 7-8.5, but would be huge for 7.5 and comfortable for 10.5. So they are a bit big for my 9 and almost twice as tall as I expected. Also, this listing said 100% silk and the package says 80% silk 20% nylon. Should be a good added layer of warmth with excellent moisture wicking tho keep the feet dry. Look to be well made so they should work for what I need. Much better that a polyester liner.

Quality was good. Heading out to Patagonia. Hoping they’ll keep our feet warm and dry.

These are great silk liners - wear alone or under wool socks. I wear US size 10.5 women’s shoes and the Large size liner works well for me. It’s a bit large but I prefer it that way.
