Wide width work well with orthotics, and the insole can be removed for this purpose. Wonderful house shoes, they are also surprisingly good at unexpected hiking events. They are slides, and they stay on your feet and give good stability anyway.

I bought these for my wife because I got her a pair of Merrill’s years ago and she loved them. She has degenerating discs in her lower back and works on her feet all day. The old pair weren’t doing the trick anymore so she decided she wanted a new pair. Not the same pair as before but the same brand. She has been happy with the new pair but said they don’t measure up to the last pair when she first got them. That is the only reason I am giving these 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Otherwise, we are very happy with the purchase.

I have bought these shoes before, they last for years and have the best support. This seller shipped them to me promptly. The shoes they sent had a defect (upper was pulling away from the sole) and they very promptly sent me a new pair in excellent condition. I am delighted! As far as the fit, they really do offer the best support. I wear these around the house while cooking. The Esprit version of this kind of slide on clogs are ok too, but only last about 6 months to a year with daily use whereas the Merrells will last a few years with excellent support for happy feet, knees and back. These are easy to spot clean with a scrub brush and some dawn soap, then rinse and set in the sun to dry. The top grain leather version are even easier to clean but are heavier and more expensive. Well worth the price if you can nab some on sale off season they will be worth the investment. Wonderful for wearing as house shoes and I keep last seasons as the outside shoes for in the yard. I would say they are also a good choice for travel, for Nurses, Cashiers or Chefs ~ anyone who is on their feet on hard even surfaces for long hours. True to size when worn with thin to medium thickness sock.

The color shown on the computer and virtual try on was much darker than the actual shoe. The shoe is more grey/ light tan than what is appears to be.
