Needed specialty U-bolts and found them. Turned out expensive but with little choice went ahead. Received promptly, well packaged that did not fall apart and inside the needed U-bolts...

Good Attachment to 4x4 Post
The 4" x 6 1/2" U Bolt is a good option for hanging something from a 4x4 (really 3.5" x 3.5") horizontal, outdoor post. I ordered 4 and they were all complete with 2 nuts each. Easy to adjust too, without tools. This will hold the hanging baskets without the need to damage the wood.

Heavy Duty U-bolt
First order all I got was the packaging, no U-BOLT. Called Amazon and they sent another out rather quickly. Good product but kind of costly, but I needed it to finish a project.

It's Shaped like a U and it's a Bolt!
U-Bolt. Works as advertised. A bit pricey, but could not find ones this size at local hardware store. Used to affix a speed bag platform to a round steel pillar. Did the job famously. U shaped bolts, they rock.
