Cool toy for kids who love dinasaurs.
I bought this for my 3 year old grandson who loves to take things apart. He absolutely loved being able to do smash this with his parents approval! His older brother enjoyed helping him, too. I was pleasantly suprised how big it was. This makes a better outdoor toy because it is quite messy.

A Messy Good Time
I just bought this for my nephew's 5th birthday as he loves dinosaurs. The look of sheer excitement on his face as we prepared our excavation was 100% worth this purchase. As many others have warned and I failed to heed, this egg makes a HUGE mess, but it was an absolute blast as he chiseled each tiny dinosaur free from this egg and I carefully dusted away the remaining dirt. We continued for over an hour, in which he finally revealed his favorite dinosaur, the pterodactyl! 9 dinosaurs down, we finally stopped so he could save the rest for tomorrow to rescue with his dad. It was the best experience I have had so far with this little man and I will cherish it forever. I didn't read the instructions to notice that you could soak it in water to make it easier to get the dinosaurs out, but after I chiseled the first bits of egg away to reveal the first dinosaur, he wasted no time getting it out and moving on to the next. I personally feel it is a great activity to share and adds a good challenge to the experience. If you aren't a fan of having to clean up, then take it outside. We did this at the kitchen table on a disposable table clothe and anything that fell on the floor was easily vacuumed.

Game Changer in the Modern Toy Wasteland
Look, as a parent, I spend about 90% of my time trying to keep my kids busy without letting them destroy the house or each other. So when I bought this clay dinosaur egg on a whim, I thought, “Best case scenario, it keeps my three-year-old occupied for five minutes. Worst case, we end up in the ER explaining how a T-Rex got lodged in someone’s nose.” But folks… this thing rocks. Literally. It’s a big clay egg, and inside are twelve tiny dinosaurs you have to excavate like a real archaeologist, if archaeologists worked in kitchens and shouted “BE CAREFUL WITH THAT HAMMER” every two minutes. We didn’t even soak it like the directions said. Nope. We went full old-school — dry clay, pure grit, the hard way. Twenty minutes of focused, dusty, glorious chaos. I brought out my clay sculpting tools (which have mostly been used to open batteries or poke things I shouldn’t), and we both went to town. Watching my son’s little face light up as he dug out each dino was magic. He was laser-focused, gentle, serious — like he was discovering the fossilized remains of a future bedtime story. I was having the time of my life too, mostly because it’s rare to see a toy that doesn’t make noise, require Wi-Fi, or ask me to download an app. Now, a warning from someone who learned the hard way: it’s messy. Like “there’s a fine layer of prehistoric dust on everything we own now” messy. The instructions say to use paper towels, but take it from me — you’re gonna need a towel, a vacuum, and maybe a stiff drink. Still, it’s worth it. This toy is one of those rare finds that’s fun, creative, and oddly therapeutic. I can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re a parent, a dinosaur enthusiast, or just an adult who enjoys chipping away at hardened clay while reflecting on your life choices — this is the toy for you.

Messy Fun for Kids-Recommended for Kids of All Ages
I got this for my 4 yr old granddaughter to add to the other eggs she received on Easter from the Easter Bunny. This was a huge hit, she loved it. I thought the egg was made of a dry substance but it appears to be clay and after it is soaked it is a bit gooey and makes quite a mess when the kids start pounding on it so take it to an area that can be easily cleaned because it will splatter. I can see this being fun for young kids as well as older kids. It took my granddaughter awhile to get to all the dinosaurs using the little wooden hammer that came with it which made the fun last longer so resist the urge to use a regular hammer. She really enjoyed it and I recommend it for kids of all ages.

Al momento es lo que esperaba, se ve súper bonita y realista la textura del huevo, lo pedí anticipadamente para reyes, así que falta tiempo para abrirlo.

This was awesome! The egg is way bigger than we expected. Kept the kids busy for hours. You are supposed to get it wet first, otherwise there would be a lot of dust. This turned into a very muddy process. We may have used too much water. Again the kids loved it, but if we did it again, it would be an outside thing.

If you have a child that likes dinosaurs this is a great gift. If you are not afraid of a little mess, then this is a fun way to find dinosaurs. Lots of excitement and laughter. Tip: the longer you soak it the easier it is to break apart for younger kids. A spray bottle with water is also a fun way to help wash the dinosaurs.
