I don’t think this style is still made but as an overall review of Naot- they are dependably well made, unbelievable foot bed that can be replaced when worn down giving 3 times the wear of the shoe which totally justifies the cost. First class shoe brand.

Well, they are comfortable. But, boy howdy are they ugly! Maybe they would be really cute in a small size, but at a 9, nope--super ugly and bulky. When I pulled them out of the box I thought they were torn because the footbed is removable and you can really see it. The sole and the footbed are not flush which creates this messy "chewed up" look around the edges. Also, oddly, the sole's inner edge has gold trim and it's weirdly shiny. This causes this strange halo effect around the footbed. That's not a good thing. Plus, the entire "metal" shoe is not silverish, it is actually mostly gold. So, other than being two-bag ugly (one for each foot)--they are super comfortable and I'm considering keeping them for that reason.

This is the second pair of these I have purchased for my daughter. I bought her first pair for her when she was 15 and headed to an exchange program in France. They were doing a lot of walking and I wanted her to have a well made sandal with good arch support. These have become her favorite sandal and she has worn them almost exclusively every summer since that trip. She is now 19 and after 4 years of hard use, they were starting to be look excessively worn and finally needed to be replaced. When asked if she wanted to try a different sandal as a replacement she decisively said that these were the best and so I bought her a second pair.They may seem expensive, but they will last for years. Very comfortable and long lasting. I have several other pairs of Naot sandals for myself which have also lasted for years. You cannot go wrong with this brand.

I have had this shoe in another color for several years and have replaced the footbeds in them to continue wearing them. They have been a great sandal that is dressy enough for dress-up clothes. This pair was a little stiff at first, but have already softened enough to be very comfortable and I look forward to wearing them for many years, just as I continue to wear my original pair. Naot is one of the brands that fit my feet well and I have several pairs of this brand. They are well-made and long lasting, and some styles have removable footbeds that can be replaced, which is basically like getting a whole new shoe.

I am a true size 9 and these fit perfectly (eu 40). The "metal leather" is more bronze-y than silver, but that makes them perfect for the multi-purpose travel shoe I wanted. Like to pack light so need a shoe that is comfortable for wearing with capris and walking, even on uneven cobblestones, as well as dressy enough to wear with nicer pants and skirts or dresses. These are perfect! I am a barefoot person, so prefer shoes that let my feet be and I believe I just found a new brand! I never tried Naot prior to this; found the brand on a website dedicated to walking shoes.Velcro adjustment around the ankle means you can tighten or loosen as needed for a comfortable fit. Ordering shoes online can be an adventure but these exceeded my expectations.

I bought these shoes for travelling in Italy. I wore them a lot for a couple weeks to break them in, and they were really comfortable at first, but they went downhill after a week or so. As the cork sole began to wear in, the heel no longer feels padded; one of the stitches around the sole came loose and I have to keep tucking under the insole; and the strap over the toes isn't sewn smoothly in the inside corners, so they dig into the sides of my feet a bit. Not a big deal until I went to Italy and began wearing them all day. They gave me blisters. They're not as well made as I expected for the price. Will be sending them back when I return to the U.S.

I really wanted to love these sandals. I have been searching for a sandal that I can wear to a summer trip to Italy that will be comfortable enough to walk in all day long, but also not clunky and can be worn with dresses. The sandals appeared to be sturdy and well made, however were a bit more on the clunkier side than I imagined, and upon trying them on,, were actually very uncomfortable. The ankle strap was stiff and hit at an awkward place on the ankle. I tried the strap looser, tighter, etc. but it hurt my ankles and would likely chafe if worn out walking. My heel also seemed to lift off the sandal more than I would like when walking. For the price, I was not willing to take the chance and immediately returned them.

Yes,they are stiff at first,as I had read. I looked up how to stretch&it worked.Used warm blow dryer for a minute & my husband's wooden shoe tree overnight.It softened the leather,as though you'd worn them awhile.The bed of the sandal is extremely comfortable.Can't wear flats,these elevate just enough.This is a rustic looking sandal.Distressed&hand sewn looking ,visible, stitches.Not for formal wear."Metal" color is more antiqued gold than silver.,as it appeared in photo.

This is a repeat of the NAot sandal for me, love the fit and look. This is the first time I've ordered on Amazon, it's alright the leather is a little stiff but I expect to work it out.
