Steadicam Pilot-VL Camera Stabilization System (Sled, Vest, Arm, Back Pack Transport, 5.8” LCD, IDX V-Lock Battery Mount)

The Tiffen Steadicam Pilot is just what I needed since I'm a 116,8 lb woman operating a camera. I started with the bigger ones before and decided that wasn't for me until they've launched Pilot.I'm very satisfied with the Steadicam because it has the same structure of the others from Tiffen, but works with less weight.Nevertheless I'd rather be working with the heaviest it can go. It's much better.I just would love if the vest were tougher though, and it had a HD SDI conector for monitoring.Great Mr Brown, thanks for your efforts!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MANUFACTURER'S DESCRIPTION DOES NOT MATCH WHAT YOU GET!The Pilot package I purchased did not come with batteries. Also it was missing the extended Allen Wrench Tool. You won't be able to use the pilot without these accessories (They will cost you $200.00 +) and it'll be sitting collecting dust til you get the battery. (Its all about balance, how can you practice missing the battery you'll be using?)Pilot itself is well made but the package sold by Amazon is missing items. Very dissapointed. I may never purchase camera equipment from Amazon again.

I’ve worked as a still photographer and cinematographer for most of my life. Buying new and used film equipment is always the same challenge for everybody. It is not Amazon’s fault at all. Do you think they scrambled your Pilot’s parts around on purpose? Be patient! Be courteous! And don’t try to balance the Pilot if there are parts missing. Good luck in your film career! -T.R.
