Great Value for the Price
I was switching from a large IKEA coffee table. I wanted to upgrade to something a little bit nicer, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an already assembled table made of nicer wood. This table is a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be. The board doesn't feel like the cheap particle board you get from IKEA furniture. It seems better (though I don't know if it actually is). I bought the gray colored table and it also looks really nice. The table has heft to it and doesn't feel cheap. The riser portion also does a decent job as long as you're expecting a $100ish dollar table. Assembly was not terrible. Though they use those annoying IKEA like screws that are like dials. Because of this, I have some little gaps in the table (nothing major) but those screws are annoying. Also, the table does wobble if you don't pull it from the middle. Not a huge deal when you pay what you pay for the table. Lastly, this table is pretty difficult to assemble with one person. Once you start putting the brackets onto the table to get it to lift, it becomes incredibly hard. Overall the table is great. Way better than I thought. Assembly is a little difficult by yourself but not impossible. Would buy this again if on a budget.

Simply stated, this is an excellent buy and a quality product.
When we purchase an item online, we shop carefully and make sure to read all the reviews and Q&As for the product. This YAHEETECH Lift Top Coffee Table meets all the positive reviews: it is an attractive and solid piece of furniture that arrived in perfect condition and assembled easily and accurately. We are well pleased. To address the negative reviews, our first recommendation is to view the video on the Amazon site that takes you step-by-step through the assembly process. It is worth 4:30 of your time even if you are experienced at furniture assembly. Because almost all the parts are symmetrical, there is little chance of error except possibly swapping the legs or flipping the compartment sides resulting in misfits and leaving the impression that holes are drilled incorrectly. Watching the video and following the instruction pages in the correct order (they are stapled strangely) should prevent this. Not only were there no missing parts but there were also extras for all the fasteners and dowels plus all parts were packaged and labeled clearly. There are two sizes of cam locks that do need to be kept separate. We did find installing the springs on the lift brackets a challenge but using a small pair of pliers to hold the end of the spring rather the loop allowed us to place the loop over the peg easily. When working with small screws we find it easier to rub them on a cake of soap to lubricate them and to install them in the pre-drilled holes and then to remove them prior to installing the final parts. Also, when installing the lift top, it is quite easy to install one screw in each bracket at the top at the nearer end. This process then makes it simple to pivot the bracket up by lifting the top and to place a screw in the other end at the bottom; the other six screws in each bracket then go in easily and the table is completed. Our downsides are minor; the label on the side is difficult to remove, and there is a lot of foam packing material that creates a disposal issue. We were a little nervous about the low price and did a lot of comparison shopping. Simply stated, this is an excellent buy and a quality product.

Good, hard to clean.
I love the table. Hard to assemble but is pretty sturdy. 4 stars just because it leaves fingerprints and residue that is hard to clean and dust shows up so clearly.

Good table and good price
I ordered this table becasue i liked the design of the lift top The first one i received the screws damanged the table which was really disappointing so I reached out to the company which didn't have replacement parts. The table is 70lbs and i needed to pay shipping (60.00) to return it They were very quick in their responses and in the end the company sent me a prepaid label to return the brokem one as soon as i returned the other table they shipped me a new one. Everything went together easily and I am loving my table seems very sturdy at a great price. I give the product and company a 5 star. With great customer service! Would buy again. One thing to realize when putting it together is your building upside down until you put on the very top table.

Pretty cool table. Not fine grain wood but attractive to look at.
Yes, good purchase. Easy to assemble and I'm an old lady. Wanted a table to work jigsaw puzzles on and it’s perfect.

Very well engineered table, sturdy and relatively easy to build
Overall, I am very happy with this table. It arrived at my doorstep with the box corners crushed. I was a little worried about the wood being damaged but pleasantly surprised to find it well packaged. Instructions are a little tedious. You need to carefully lay out the pieces before assembly. It's great that each piece was properly labeled with the corresponding hardware. It takes 2 people to assemble the table and the hardest part for us was putting the metal hinges for the lift top. There are 8 wood screws to put in on each side so having a third person to hold the table top in place is best. After it was all assembled, the table looks fantastic and extremely functional. The extra storage underneath the lift top is great for storing things and hiding it out of the way. Very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

Truly awful construction experience for just an 'okay' bit of function
I'll start this off by giving people who've bought this or are thinking of buying this a bit of actionable advise on building this coffee table. Firstly, do step 10 and 11 before you do step 9. If you want to know why, scroll to the bottom. ALSO: This doesn't come with tools. I have tools, but I know a lot of people don't keep a toolbox. You'll need a Philips head screwdriver, preferably shorter/stubbier for certain sections that require a tight squeeze. A drill or driver will also make things a lot easier, especially the last step. This last step will also probably require two people - one to hold the top up while the second person does the drilling to attach the tabletop to the furniture. So... my instruction manual was not just out of order, but completely misprinted. I had to take the entire booklet apart and lay all of the sheets out to get the right order. Just something to be mindful of. Additionally, I was short 1 of the cam locks (the important ones that pull the pieces together). Typically they give you an extra of most of the important pieces, but I was left with two of the standard cam locks, a couple dowls and an extra short screw, but had to use a standard cam lock in place of the tightening cam lock. It should be fine, but it's just a small part of a pretty miserable construction experience. The constructions were then just poorly thought out. It's like they made all of the steps, printed them out, and then randomized them in sections. The 9-11 steps were the biggest offenders, but there were several other steps that when I was doing them I was like "This would be so much easier if I just reversed this..." I love building furniture, it is one of my masochistic kinks, but this experience was kind of brutal. Once it is together, it's fine. Just fine... okay... very slightly average. It's cheap, and so I guess you should expect an egregiously average piece of furniture. But what I will say, is that the raising mechanism is pretty bad. They are not attached in any way, so the two sides of the table top raise independently. This means if you pull it, one side is almost always going to raise at a different rate than the other side, leaving it a wobbly experience. You have to be very deliberate with the opening action. If you want to use this as a storage compartment primary, this will do you fine. But, if you want to actually use it as a functioning tabletop as seen in the pictures, to eat on or do work on on a semi-regular basis, I would probably find an alternative with a more thought-out device for the raising and lowering function. Hope this helps! If I have any updates on the actual usage of the table I'll add edits below. Addendum (Steps 9-11): Otherwise, you have to either 1. balance one long piece of wood on top of another piece of thin wood in a T pattern and drill into it, or you can set it on its side at this point, but because they tell you to put sideboards on one piece but not the other, one piece is about 2 inches too short and so I had to stack the styrofoam that comes in the box up under one to give it a similar height to align the holes.

Very satisfied! Sturdy, long but easy assembly process
Just as described, came perfect, good packaging, so far it has been doing great every evening for dinner. All measurements are true to description, no missing parts, great look and easy to clean spills. Check the video!
