I bought one of these as a Christmas gift. It arrived and I was very pleased with it. It is not too big or bulky, and wraps nicely around the neck. It is comfortable to use. I realized after I got it that it was a perfect gift for two other friends as well who experience a lot of neck pain, so I ordered two more. They were a hit with each recipient. The moan of pleasure when each person tried it for the first time made me laugh, but reinforced the fact I had picked a good gift for each person that will give them repeated relief. I am ordering another one now as a birthday gift for another friend. The only thing is I wish the cover was removable and washable. This is small enough to take with you traveling, and the fact it is not anything that needs to be plugged in, makes it easy to use in bed, on a couch, in a recliner, or in the car. It is very comforting. I had a similar product for myself for years and even used it post surgery while in the hospital, a couple times. The nurses were impressed with it. if you want a nice gift for someone in the hospital recovering or at home recovering, this beats flowers, and can be used repeatedly. It is a gift that keeps on giving. It is like giving someone a hug over and over.

THESE HEATING PADS ARE HIGH QUALITY AND DO A WONDERFUL JOB WITH MY PAINFUL NECK. THE PRICE IS VERY REASONABLE, I AM HEAVY AND THEY ARE DEFINITELY OF GOOD SIZE, THE COVER IS SOFT, THEY HEAT VERY WELL IN THE MICROWAVE IF ONE FOLLOWS DIRECTIONS. I USUALLY GIVE IT A FEW ADDITIONAL MINUTES IN MW, BUT THAT IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE. I HAVE HAD OTHER PRODUCTS THAT WERE EXPENSIVE AND SIMPLY DID NOT DO THE JOB FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER. ANYONE WILL FIND THAT THESE WILL GIVE YOU A GREAT HALF HOUR OF COMFORT--A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN. I WILL BUY MORE IN THE FUTURE.

I get migraines and usually have tension and pain in the back of my neck and at the base of the skull. I had something similar to this, but it is more for the neck and shoulders. It was great until it was put in the microwave too long and burnt it, so I could not withstand the smell. This one is perfect for my neck and provides moist heat for a sore neck. I would love to have a bigger version of this for my shoulders and neck so that it won't slip off. I love that it isn't scented with lavender or anything because I am sensitive to smells when I have migraines. I will look into buying more of your products and am so glad you make your products in the U.S.A.!

I was replacing an older 'heat log' that my wife got from her chiropractor that eventually tore and started to leak. That one was a little beefier than this and it used rice instead of flax seed. If I never had my old one, I would probably give this five stars but when I compare the two, this is not quite as good.There is nothing 'wrong' with this one exactly, it does the job. If I put this in the microwave for 3 minutes, it comes out very warm and lasts for about 1-2 hours. The fabric is soft and the heat is very moist so that's good. I was just hoping for an equal replacement and this isn't it.

Too heavy. If you have pain this thing presses down on it and doesn’t help. Being so long if you use on your arm or shoulder the weight will pull it off or down.Also being so large it takes 4-5 minutes to heat each time and doesn’t retain the heat for long.Purpose for pain is hot and specific this would be fine to warm your bed before getting in but 4-5 minutes you will forget you nuked it and walk away.Have had since August and the flax is burnt and stinks and makes my clothing smell. I can’t even have it in the room after. I am sending it back. Actually it’s too late, I guess I just throw it in the bin.I gave it a shot for Frozen Shoulder - Adhesive Capsulitis- and don’t recommend. Wish I could!

It gets nice and warm within 2 minutes in the microwave and it felt good on my neck, but the smell is sooo bad! When I took it out of the microwave, it smelled like urine. Like stale animal urine. There’s no way I’m going to be able to tolerate the odor. I know it’s filled with flax seed or some kind of grain, but it seriously smells like dried grass that a dog peed on. Not only that, but the scent is so bad it made my neck smell. I’m going to return this for a heating pad. Don’t buy this unless you want to smell like hot urine.

This "Neck Warming Wrap" is the most uncomfortable product that was advertised to prove comfort I have ever experienced! This product is inflexible and therefore, difficult to wrap around your neck and when you do it is very hard. I have oral cancer and need to use a neck wrap to sleep. Having this product behind your neck makes sleep impossible. I would have rated this product a one in every category however, it does retain the heat a reasonable length of time.

It fell apart on the first day.
