This game was so incredible to play - the atmosphere, music, character, and combat were all outstanding. The story, though was kind of so-so in the middle because it turns to the trope of "we don't like you or the things you are doing, but we won't tell you why, and we are just gonna fight you randomly when we see you then run," and logically it's like you could have just talked to each other and been fine. Yeah, this is a video game, but non-continuity is frustration. The semi-plot twist in the middle was unexpected, and I am usually good at calling those out.

I thought it was pretty fun and the story / setting was interesting and enjoyable. If you don't mind anime style games, then this is a solid pickup. It's certainly worth playing. I have a few additional critiques and tips below but that sums it up.The combat feels pretty tight, though it gets a little repetitive near the end. One tip to reduce that is to go into the game settings and find the option for abbreviated 'brain crush' animations, since you'll be using them a lot.Dying gets a little frustrating due to just how fast you can go from full HP to dead, so be sure to stack maximum defense for survivability and ignore all other stats. Prioritize unlocking the additional equip slots on your "brain map" talent tree for this same reason.I got about 30-40 hours out of a single play-through. I may or may not eventually play through again from the 2nd protagonist's perspective. The game touts having 2 diverging paths/perspectives based on your chosen character, but it converges somewhere around the halfway point into a single party roster, and the game proceeds to spill the beans on the entire plot at the end without a burning need to go back and discover what you missed through the other character.

SCARLET NEXUS looks good, runs good, sounds good, and has excellent combat. Being able to fight using mind powers and your partners abilities is unique and always enjoyable. The world is beautifully designed and the artist/designers deserve praise. While the game excels at many things, it does have its story issues and repetitive design. Running around the same places to fight the same enemies in predictable locations can get burdensome after some time but the combat keeps you going. Characters in this game kind of make zero sense as one second they are trying to kill you, and the next they wanna meet up at the local food joint to bond??? While bonding is nice, if they are enemies, why are we bonding? Any ways, it was a fun game, but the story and cast didn't really pull me in.

The game is great, combat is fluent, the animations are stunning and graphics are top notch. The case when it arrived was broken and I had to replace it but the game was perfectly fine.

If you’re familiar with the Tales Of franchise then this title is for you. They’ve added Haptic Feedback vibrations to the Ps5 controller which makes immersion an experience that needs to be witnessed. The story takes some huge twist and turns and the combat is spectacular. You feel like a true leader bonding with your squad which opens up more abilities as you build more of a connection. I recommend this to the JRPG lovers out there.

This game is awesome. A lot better than I had imagined. I’m doing a blind playthrough. So I’ve not seen the game in detailed prior to purchasing it or seeing the screenshots on the purchase page. I’m thoroughly enjoying the game. And even though it’s not part of SAO; Scarlett Nexus does give you a similar feeling. Very satisfied with this game. Only thing I would need to add is that the manufacturers need to start making sure that the discs are fully fastened and secured before shipping out. That’s how discs get scratched. Causing issues. I got mine and the disc was already loose. Luckily it was not scratched.

Came in perfect condition. This game is amazing. If you're into anime you're going to love this game. The story is deep, complex and makes you wanting to know more and more. The controls during battle flow flawlessly. The power ups and weapons are amazing. Overall this game will definitely be a nominee for Game of the Year and JRPG of the Year. Bandai/Namco have made a beautiful game. Can't wait for the anime to start later this year.

Bought this game when Amazon had it for sale at $19.99. Definitely worth the price. The gameplay and graphics amazed me. Did not expect it to be this good so far!

Desde su estreno tenía ganas de jugarlo. Lamentablemente no me gustó, lo jugué durante 10 horas y según Internet la primer vuelta dura 25 horas, supongo que es buen tiempo para saber si me agrada.La jugabilidad no es mala, es un RPG de acción, tipo anime, con batallas Hack And Slash. Uno de los problemas que le vi es el tiempo entre misión, la historia se presenta en imágenes con diálogos, casi no tiene cinemáticas y llega a ser tedioso. También el desplazamiento en el juego, mientras no estás en una misión es aburrido, ya que todo es un mundo vacío con barreras invisibles. Llega a ser repetitivo y terminó aburriendome.No digo que sea malo el juego, menciono lo que considero puntos buenos y malos desde mi perspectiva.

Definetly a fun game! It has alot of aspects of Devil May Cry added with RPG elements. I gave it 4 stars being I wasn't too satisfied with the RPG elements so far and the constant picture clips they use for when the characters talk rather than using actual anime video cutscenes (which they do use sometimes). The gameplay and fun aspect is 5 out of 5 though. My advice, wait until a price drop. This game will hit 49.99 before the end of the year for sure.

This game is pretty fun its a hack slash with a way trippy 3d feel. Kinda hurt the eyes its pretty dope. Its to bad it took 17 days to get to me from 4 day shipping. With zon shipI would recommend this game fun stuff good story. Crazy 3d.Easy control nothing to scream about. Lol
