It smells horrible but my dogs love them. They eat a lot of them so I always end up repurchasing them. The quality is good, the thickness is appropriate even for smaller dogs. I wish they were a little more affordable. They seem pricey compared to similar products.

My dog loves these. Best of all -- no digestive issues. She's a big girl but gets a small treat every time we get into the car from the dog park. Kind of an incentive to want to leave and a reward for leaving.

I purchased a couple of items from the Jungle Calling line. Right away I noticed the quality of the packaging they use, which are nice, thick, durable, resealable bags, easy to close and secure.The duck breast wrapped cod sticks for my dog appear to be so fresh, and my dog loved them. I was very impressed by the quality of the ingredients used and pleasantly surprised with minimal ingredients. I appreciate that they do not add a bunch of fillers or nasty preservatives. However, the only ingredient I am questioning is Casava startch. Although it sounds good as it is a root and naturally gluten free, tapioca is made from the same plant, if it is prepared improperly can contain chemicals that are converted to cyanide in the body and cause cyanide poisoning and paralysis. Some dogs can have an allergic reaction to it, from swelling and skin irritation to respiratory difficulties. My dog unfortunately, has a sensative tummy. He was so excited about this treat and ate it all up but a couple hours after consuming it, he vomited. I had also given him a new allergy tablet so To be fair I am going to give the treats another try and see what happenes. I so wanted these treats to be a new healthy favorite. The quality looked above average from the packaging to the minimal ingredients but that questionable ingredient, the vomiting and the fact that it is made in China makes me think I may need to keep looking. To be fair I will give it a few more trys and update my review as necessary.

My dog is allergic to chicken and a lot of dog treats have some byproduct of chicken in them but since these have duck which is not chicken she has no problem with them and my vet agrees. My dog can't get enough of these she loves them we have ordered several bags you cannot go wrong especially if you're a dog has any type of allergy to chicken

My dog LOVES these!! She's very picky but these are her favs. She actually eats the whole thing instead of leaving part of it. I've been purchasing them for the last 3 years, consistently good.

My dog would give them five stars, but the cod is really smelly so I hate giving them to her. She tends to eat the crunchy outside, then leave the center lying around for a while, or she buries it in the couch for later. I think I’ll stick with the rawhide ones. She is less likely to chew the center before she wants another one, so we have a ton of rawhide sticks, but at least they don’t stink. 😅
