Save yourself the return. Don't buy them. Bogus, bogus, bogus. Thank you, Amazon, for making returns easy.
OK. A few facts here. First fact: I'm an idiot. I ordered these batteries based on a 3 1/2-star review average. I never read the actual reviews. I should have. If I had, I would never have ordered these. Hence, I am an idiot.Second fact: A great number of positive reviews, assuming they are legitimate, are based on the fact that the battery worked. Yes ... they work, but they are no where near the mAh's (milli-amp-hours) at which the are advertised.Third fact: based on my test, these are somewhere between 350mAh and 450mAh; nowhere near the 1200 mAh claimed. Here’s what I did.I have a J5 Tactical Flashlight that I previously used to check an Olight 14500 3.7v 750maAh Protected Rechargeable Li-ion Battery. That battery kept the J5 at full brightness for 45-minutes which is consistent with other bonafied 14500 batteries that are rated 750mAh. That said, at 1200mAh, these batteries should have lasted 72 minutes in the same light. I tried two and they lasted 21 and 27 minutes. That translates into 350mAh and 450mAh, respectively.A lie is a lie, and these batteries are one big lie. That being the case, I also can’t believe their claim that they have protective circuitry installed in them; if they don’t, that is a fire hazard. I’m disappointed that Amazon sells this type of garbage on the site that I rely on for so many of my purchases. Nevertheless, I do include a “Thank you, Amazon” for the fact that my return of this bogus product was easy for full credit (at no shipping cost to me).

Counterfeit garbage - not worth it
Apparently UltraFire does not even make a 1200mA 14500 battery. Counterfeits on Amazon are bad enough, but these are really pathetic batteries - more like 120mA than 1200. Additionally, one of the four in the pack was completely DOA - 0V / open circuit on a decent charger and a Fluke meter. I will probably return this trash as soon as I have the time to print a shipping label.

The 'One of Four' Mystery
This is the second time I buy the 'UltraFire" batteries. I noticed a pattern with my last 2 orders. It may sound cynical but for the ‘third time’ 1 out of 4 batteries is defective. As you may know we usually use batteries in even numbers. That means if one is defective, you most likely to buy another set. Returning is a pain because they require special Haz-Mat shipping label. Next time I'll pay more and go with a brand name.

2 stars is me being generous, garbage battery, not reliable, Cheap? Yes! but not worth it for any situation spend a few more dollars and get something that will not fail or break within weeks. I have owned numerous Ultrafire batteries because most came with they're flashlights which I do like but don't ever have these as your main batts, backups maybe, I was going to throw all mine away because I hated them so much but I decided to ship them to North Korea and let Mr Kim Jung deal with it!

Dead on Arrival
These don't work. I have an UltraFire charger already from 2 UltraFire batteries I bought before. It does not charge these batteries. They're dead. The charger says they're charged up, but they don't work. Don't waste your money or time on these.

Excellent AA replacement batteries for LED flashlights ONLY
I use these in place of AA batteries in all of my LED flashlights. BEWARE LED flashlights will work at various voltages. So, going from a regular AA battery to a 14500 is fine. They will last much longer than regular AA batteries and do not fade throughout the charge. DO NOT use these in other devices that use AA batteries or it will be the last time you use the device. DO not use in flashlights that are not LED either.

Extras for my Ultrasaber
I bought these as a second set of batteries for my Ultrasabers light saber with Obsidian v4 sound board. They work about as well as the batteries I got with the saber. If you're looking at these for longer life because they're 1200mAh vs the 900mAh for the Trustfire batteries you probably won't see much of a difference. They are solid as a set of backup batteries, though.

Excellent batteries but NOT a substitute for AA batteries
First and foremost: These batteries do not replace AA batteries! Though they are about the same physical size, they are 3.7 volt and will burn out just about anything that is made to run on 1.5V AA batteries. So, don't try it!Having said that, they are great batteries for my flashlight that is made to use them. Freshly charged I get 4.1V out of them.
