Senior Calming Aid - 60 Soft Chews

Our 10 yr old male border collie started to breath heavily in the evening time and could not get comfortable. Jumping on our bed several times and whining. Checked for injuries or other, he was fine. Vet said could be doggy anxiety and/or dementia. I read it could also be sundowning. Vet recommended Trazodone for anxiety at night which we did, it seemed to work. In the mean time we looked for a more natural option and found this product. Oh my gosh, it works great. We do a couple of sprays in all the areas he may lay and watch him transform from a heavy breathing, whining, unable to get comfortable doggy to a normal breathing, relaxed deep sleeper for the night. Thus far we really like this product. It smells great and I would think it has health benefits for our pup. It absolutely works on his anxiety, possible doggy dementia or sundowning.

Works really well for my dogs at night. Settles them down, so they can rest easy. They love the taste, too!!

Didn’t work well

This is just what my puppies needed, now I give them one every time they start acting crazy. Which is not too often, but it does help them to sleep and also helps them to calm down, especially as puppies. They are now a year old. And they don’t cry or bark at the fireworks or loud noises. They love the taste and they’re very soft. Worth every single penny when you have three puppies.🐾

Highly recommend!! My 11 year old boxer mix has been pretty reactive with people she doesn't know. I rescued her when she was 8 months old. She was not potty trained, didnt know how to be on a leash, had been abused, and she had zero confidence as a dog. They kept her in a cage all the time. She has a long tail and the fur on the entire tip is gone!! Because she would be wagging it constantly and it hit the sides of the cage and wore all the fur away. I have noticed a few senior health things happening and need to have a vet visit. This is a new vet for us due to moving. They recommend that I give her a supplement to help her be chill for the check up. I already get supplements from this company for her and found this product. I gave her 2 soft chews and within 30 mins she was so relaxed. She went and layed down in her place and slept. She slept so calmly and deeply. It was wonderful seeing her so relaxed. She was back to her normal within 6 hours. These supplements have been life changing for us. I would definitely recommend getting the smallest container and do a test run. Use the amounts that are given on the side of the box. My girl is almost 50 pounds and with her weight it recommends 2. Thats what I use.

Hasn't worked as I had hoped for my 10-year-old Belgian Malinois. According to other reviews, I think maybe smaller breeds seem to have the best results. I tried this brand, hoping to have even better results than a competitor I have been using. She likes the taste. I even upped the amount a bit to see if she just needed a bit more. Overall, I am so happy that it is working for other sweet dogs, but for my girl, I am not seeing any added calm.

Bought this for my little shih tzu who is afraid of thunder and fireworks. Gave it to him about an hour before midnight and he was as calm as could be. The fireworks didn't even phase him. Works better than Benadryl and the Only Natural Pet brand.

These calming dog supplement chews work pretty well for my pup. The ingredient list is really nice and feels a lot cleaner than some other calming treats I’ve looked at. I’ve noticed that when we’re not home, she seems more relaxed and less on edge, which is exactly what I was hoping for. One big plus is that she actually enjoys eating them… no hiding them in peanut butter or bribing her to take them. They’re more like a treat to her, which makes things easy. Overall, they’re not a magic fix, but they genuinely help take the edge off and keep her calmer. I’d definitely buy them again.
