Great lace replacement for my Redwing Ironrangers and Grant Stone Diesel boots. These laces are durable and I love the waxed finish.

The laces are highly waxed and quite shiny so if that is what you are looking for these will do that. Note that the brown is very dark, almost hard to tell from the black. Very nice laces. Knots stay tied.

**edit**My first pair of laces broke so I reordered these because I love the color and wanted to give them a second chance. The second pair were much better waxed. I’m not sure why the laces are so inconsistent but due to the first pair snapping and being poorly waxed I’m only increasing my rating to 4 stars from 3 stars originally. If they continue to be better waxed and don’t break as easily then I will consider giving them 5 stars and right off the first pair as a fluke.**original review**I love the color but these laces are very poorly waxed. They don’t have the shine or luster that they claim and the knot just falls apart due to the lack of wax. They feel like paper. I’m waxing them myself because I don’t want to deal with sending them back but I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want a properly waxed pair of laces that will stay tied.And for the record, I reached out to the company for support before leaving this review. I wanted to give them a chance to stand behind their product but they had no comment about whether or not the laces are supposed to be like this.

The media could not be loaded. They really waxed these, they are thinner than standard laces and the waxing job is amazing, so the fibers of the lace are not fuzzy at all, so pretty in smaller shoes. This is the cream color 46” and I tucked the res of the length inside the shoe, there was about 3-4 inches left over that I had to tuck. No biggie, worth the price! But they are significantly thinner laces than standard sized laces so be aware of that.

I’ve ordered several pairs of laces from different places over the past two weeks. Thanks to Cobbler’s Choice the search is over. The stiffness along with the laces quality, fits perfectly. Easy tying for my early morning start. The value for money cannot be beaten. Once the laces are broken in you’ll appreciate them even more. Yes, I like flat laces for my work boots, don’t judge me. Hahahaha! I have plans to try their hiking laces as well. Keep up the great quality Cobbler’s Choice!

Reading other reviews I was concerned that the strings wouldn't appear waxed.The look, color, length is perfect. From the feel they seem to be pretty good quality. We will see how they perform. In the interim i can say. They are EXACTLY what I was looking for.Update: After wearing them a little bit. I noticed they come untied very easy due to the smoothness the wax provides. I believe that'll change with more wear. Other than that I stand by my previous comment.Update 12/30/23As I suspected with more wears the strings do become slightly less smooth at the tie tension point and I don't have the coming untied issue anymore. This changed long before this update, it didn't take long.

Product didn't match description.I ordered waxed cotton laces but round, two toned, possibly synthetic laces arrived. They're nice laces so I'll throw them in a drawer but they don't match my boots.
