Power Pen

This is the second power pen I purchased because my kids like them so much. I purchased this pen and it worked great, but a few months in, it started marking everything as wrong. Through Amazon, I was referred to Product Support and called the number to the manufacturer. Their customer service was excellent! An actual person picked up the phone (WOW!) and she got a new power pen to us within 48 hours... and this is during their busy season! I am so impressed that I will continue to purchase educational items from this manufacturer. What we bought from them has been generally good quality and, coupled with the customer service, they have a long term customer in me. Would definitely recommend.

Grandkids loved it!

I love using the power pen cards and hot dots cards. Both of my sons love them and will happily pull them out and use them! The pen here really surprised me as IT WORKS ON BOTH POWER PEN AND HOT DOTS PRODUCTS!! Since we use both products. This was a wonderful surprise to find out! My older son challenged whether or not it could be used on hot dots. It worked to both our amazement. I am glad as I had just ordered a hot dots pen due to our old one being too worn out to work anymore. This had made me put up the hot dots books and cards because that pen isn't due to arrive til the fifteenth! I absolutely recommend this pen and the lite pen!!!

We’ve had it for about 6 months, but as of the last couple of months, marks all answers as wrong. Batteries are new, we are marking the correct answer in an upright position, but still doesn’t work.

This product is incredible! If you’re considering it, let this be your sign to buy it. My 3rd grader who HATES school and HATES reading, absolutely loves this product and feels like she’s playing a game while learning. We love that the pen can be used for any of the boxes or books so it can grow with her! It’s super easy to use and she was able to start playing right away! We’ve recommended this to many friends!

Ridiculous to add five dollars to educational items on Black Friday and Cyber Monday then drop them after the holiday. Not a deal and will make me look for other companies next time.

I am a teacher and have been tutoring my own grandchildren (grades 2-4) at home during covit-19. When I started to see a drop in my grandchildren's reading and comprehension test scores I purchased this pen along with the reading cards. Learners are given a story and then on the back 4-5 multiple choice questions to test comprehension. My grandkids are excited to do the work and often have to remind me if it is their time to work on it. The pen gives immediate answers by either lighting up red for wrong or green for correct along with a sound effect. A great learning tool especially if parents need to tutor their own children.

This tool (WITH the cards purchased separately) helps to gamify learning. Just being able to read isn't motivation enough in this day and age of screens screens screens everywhere. The instant response on whether they got the right answer or not is just what our little guy needed to make the effort!
