can't get audio, at the moment - this could be a Steam issue
I initially had a lot of issues connecting/pairing this controller. I paid for the 8bitdo and another similar dongle, neither product would pair. as the common denominator was the controller, I swapped it out with a replacement, that the seller was good enough to ship. Sadly the new one didn't work with these dongles either, but it did connect with my Win 10 Bluetooth and it works great, except the audio, but I'm putting that down to a software issue. Now I can play my Steam games without any issues or lag, it works just like a USB controller. The only problem I have is, when I go to play at a later date, the controller doesn't connect. I have to go to devices, wireless controller and then disconnect/forget the connection. Then I repeat the bluetooth pairing again.I find this a very small price to pay as the controller is very, very good.Oh side note, when connecting this controller as a bluetooth device, dont pick the 'Everthing Else' section, with the Xbox controller, listed.Pick the Add bluetooth with mice, keyboards, pens etc.you will see wireless controller, when you do the pairing process. Click on wireless controller and it will pair - be patient though, it may take a few attempts. I panicked when i saw the pairing code but i just entered "0000" and it worked.Steam recognised this controller so nothing further was needed, but you can customise certain things, within steam, if you wish.I hope this helps you budding gamers out there.

Works Until it Doesn't
The kids go through these controllers like they're free. I stopped getting them the expensive Sony controllers, and have tried a few "budget" controllers. They don't seem to care about many of the extra features anyway. This controller isn't awesome. It looks and feels like other controllers well enough. But that's about it.It doesn't like to reconnect after being turned off, so the kids have gotten good at removing the devices (which unfortunately all report as the same kind) and re-pairing.It doesn't seem to last as long as the others. The kids have swapped them around, but this is always the first to get plugged in for more charge.Especially as it looses charge, but also just whenever, this one seems to interfere with the others. We sometimes have three controllers in use at the same time. When this is one of them, all of them will have trouble interacting on occasion. When this is the only controller, it only seems to interfere with the remote (we use them with AppleTV, not a game console--maybe that matters for some). When used with a tablet, it works fine, and without conflicting with anything used elsewhere, until it runs dry...Of the half-dozen controllers we've had, this one ranks the least favorite of all those still working.

Better Feel than OEM Controller
The media could not be loaded. I am an avid video game user as I play on my PS4 and gaming computer several hours every week. Recently, one of my two Sony controllers stopped working so I decided to look for a non-Sony controller to replace it as I did not want to spend a lot of money when it would only serve as a backup to my one still functioning Sony controller. I came across this version of a PS4 controller when researching and decided to give it a try. So far, I am very happy with it. I honestly expected it to be inferior to Sony's OEM controller as it was a good amount cheaper, however, I actually enjoy this one much more. This version has grip pads on the front and back of the handles which makes holding it much more comfortable compared to the small plastic-like handles on the Sony version. I have seen no delay when playing different types of games and have had no issues connecting it. It did take some getting used to this version as the buttons are slightly different in terms of how much pressure is needed for it to register, however, it was a relatively quick adjustment. The battery life is slightly less as well, but it was not very noticeable. Overall, I am very happy with this controller and will look into getting another as a backup in the future.

An honest review- screw the money
If you don't have a lot of cash to spend on controllers this is a decent replacement. It will get you by. Just make sure the controller is charged. Don't just plug it and use it. During gameplay, my husband and I discovered response time to be not at it's best. I would say don't allow it to go down past 50% without plugging it back in. that will give you decent amount of time with gameplay. Be careful when reading these reviews. A supplier is giving away money for good reviews. These aren't the best controllers, I'll be honest about that. I have bought better knock off ps3 controllers that were a lot better. For all those that know, Red Dead is what we are playing, sony controllers would hold the road really tight on horseback or carriage and this one during a low battery would have you all over the place.

This is even better than Sony brand controllers
The controller is amazing. It's very comfortable and the design is sleek. The placement of the light bar is above the Home button, which might affect the positioning of how you hold the controller for certain games that use the light bar for tracking. So there's a possibility that might be an issue. The grip on both handles is very nice. The buttons are very responsive and are raised a little higher than official PS4 controllers, which in my opinion is a good thing because they're easier and quicker to press. The control sticks are nice as well and are indented more which help keep your thumbs on point. The controller comes with a charger cord but I don't have the original PS4 charging cable that came with the PS4 so I can't say if it's longer or shorter. But all in all, I'm very impressed with this controller and I like it even more than official Sony brand PS4 controllers. I definitely recommend getting this controller, you won't regret it.
